As a personal trainer I know how important proper athletic footwear is and how detrimental it can be to the body by using the wrong type of shoe (like running in a shoe made for a high arch when you have flat feet can cause serious ankle, knee and hip issues). So happy there is a specialty footwear store in the area! Privately owned, so no big corporation gimmicks and their customer service was great.. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Great prices too! Will be going back.. Came all the way from Poughkeepsie, worth the drive!

Just had a fantastic experience buying a pair of running shoes at Run On Hudson. It reminds of the kind of quality service I used to get at certain stores in NYC. I’m not a heavy runner, but my old shoes were giving me serious problems and I wanted guidance and advice. I got it! The salesperson (Wendi) was friendly, knowledgable, helpful, and totally soft sell. And to top it off, my final pick was on sale for $98 instead of $130. Perfect score!

Good customer service, and know what they are talking about. However shoe selection is lacking. Have probably the worst running shoes you could wear, the Hokas, but have absolutely nothing in the way of minimalist shoes that actually allow your feet to function normally. Very disappointed in that.
