First off I want to say how much I greatly appreciate this shop and those who work there. Thankyou. Last summer went in and bought an Abus u-lock. I began having issues with the lock about a month afterwards, but didnt go into the shop with my concerns until just 2 days ago this winter. Turns out a lot of people had the same issue with the lock and it was a simple fix of removing some o-rings that the manufactures decided to install that season in an attempt to quiet the lock while riding. The staff quickly removed these and the lock has been working great. I next asked about what type of chain lube I should be using for the winter and explained i have currently been low on funds but will be in to buy some as soon as i get paid. The staff dabbed some on my chain to show me how well it worked. The following day I had a puncture in my tube and I was able to buy a new standard road tube for just $7 where I’ve previously paid 15+ at other stores. The staff there have been nothing but great for me and my only regret is that I had not went back sooner with my bike lock troubles. I would recommend anyone with bike needs to go down and give these guys a visit! Thank you Campus Wheelworks~!

I bought a Jamis Allegro from Campus WheelWorks. I road it for 2 years and loved every minute of it. Then the knee pain started. This is the point where I find out I have no cartiledge left in my right knee. I went back to Campus to ask for some suggestions on how to reduce the knee pain when Im riding. I was ready to do whatever it took to get riding again including finding a new bike if I had too. The sales person and mechanic told me I probably didnt need a new bike. Different tubes and tires could make a huge difference. I figured at this point I have nothing to lose, so I tell them to go ahead and do what they recommended. I just finished the Ride for Roswell this past weekend and went 30 miles PAIN FREE! This is huge to me since I could barely make 2-3 miles before Campus worked on my bike this spring. I loved the bike and the service from Campus when I bought it back when, and love it even more now. I cant recommend the shop and staff highly enough! They are seriously the best in Buffalo! The individual attention is sencond to none. They gave me back the gift of cycling and there isnt praise enough in the world for that. Thanks Campus Wheel Works!!!

Campus Wheelworks has always gone the extra mile for me when trying to meet my biking needs. I had a helmet that was a couple seasons old, they called up their distributor and were able to find me an extra visor; they gave it to me for free after custom ordering it. Their mechanics are top notch and have helped me get my bike back on the road a half-a-dozen times. The owners and staff are amazing! They are a key part of the Buffalo cycling community, organizing events and groups (Group Rides, Cross In The Park, Buffalo Bike Pageant). Actively supporting the pro-bike movement in Buffalo, NY (From GoBike! to Sharrows!). One time I showed up to Cross in the Park on my Fixie, they not only gave me a trophy for being the only guy dumb enough to try and ride a streetbike fixed around a cyclocross course. They used their angle-grinder to cut off my U-lock that I had lost the key for! I highly recommend Campus Wheelworks for all your biking needs. I vote for them with my wallet.

We were in route to Buffalo for a biking vacation with friends when our car was hit from behind from someone who didnt stop when the traffic stopped. We had our bikes on the back and they got damaged. We looked up bike shops near our hotel and even though this wasnt the closest it got the best reviews. So glad we followed the reviews. When we took our bikes there and explained our situation they could not have been more helpful. They fixed all the damage and had our bikes back to us not only within the same day, but within about 2 - 3 hours!!! They do fantastic work and I would highly recommend them for anyone who would like to rent, buy, or need a bicycle repair!! Many thanks to the employees at Campus WheelWorks you are the best!!!

The service here is unbeatable. I went in thinking I couldnt afford the road bike I wanted, but they have a layaway program and I got the best service, finding the right bike for me, not what would make them the most money. My new road bike came with a free professional fitting, 20% off accessories, and the fact that I now have a place I can go with any problems, "beginner questions," issues about my bike or cycling, anything! I have moderate carpel tunnel, after the fitting on my new bike, now I can bike much, much further with so much more comfort. Im hardly experiencing any issues at all. I didnt think that would be possible. Shop local and support this hardworking, honest, and service-oriented shop!

Just picked up my skis after getting them mountain-ready for the first time in years. Campus WheelWorks did a fantastic job with my ski tune (sharpen/hot wax). I used to this myself but they are far better than I couldve ever done it. A truly professional ski tune! They had their work cut out for them too as my skis were beaten badly, plenty of ski-repair work involved. Ive been to Campus WheelWorks a few times in the past and I can say they are without question one of the best ski shops in all of WNY including the resort shops. These guys know what theyre doing. What a treat to have that right here in city limits of Buffalo! Thanks Campus WheelWorks!

Well lets start off with this IF YOU HAVE A MOUNTAIN BIKE BEWARE. DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE. This bike shop is for hipsters with easy to fix, fixed gear junk recycled bikes only. They acted so snobby because I Mountain Biked. ( sorry Im not a cool hipster with holes in my ears) I brought my bike here, waited for their "Master mechanic" to bleed my brakes..... 4 weeks ...... Just to find out he did a horrendous job. Felt like he actually made my brakes worse!!! Then they did a ton of work and I was left with such a huge tab!! Almost 300$ and my bike rode like complete crap! Those damn hipsters hosed me!

I brought my road bike in for a derailleur adjustment. And a re~tapping of the derailleur hanger as it was stripped. They took my bike in then and fixed everything for 15 dollars. Really 15 dollars. Wow thank you very much you have a new loyal customer. Now my bike shifts as smooth as butter. The mechanic is very good and extremely knowledgeable. As well as the entire staff is. And they are very friendly. I cant rave enough about campus wheel works.

This shop is by far my favorite small store in buffalo. The staff will make you feel at home. I often spend an hour or so in the shop every time I visit, which is often being a new cyclist. The atmosphere is great and they are always looking to help. I reccomended talking to the staff if youre looking to get into cycling and want to find ways to be involved. Fact, Id rather spend money at campus than spend it on Amazon.
