I purchased a new Specialized Crux here and love my bike. But today I brought my road bike in to correct a problem I have my road bike setup tubeless and my rear tire was losing @25psi overnight Upon inspection it was discovered that there was no sealant in the tire, orange seal was installed, my total bill was $44.82 includes $30 for labor and $11.95 for enough sealant for one tire wow outrageous price, I was a customer at Flythe Cyclery, great shop, great mechanics and a family atmosphere, but the owner decided it was time to retire, their price for the same job was $10 per wheel and I called a few shops in Raleigh and prices for this job were $10 a wheel to $15 to $20, at $30 labor for one wheel, a 15 minute job translates to $120 an hour for labor! if I came here to mount 2 new tires tubeless it would cost $90! REALLY!!!! You got me once but I will not return for service or to buy a new bike here!

This is my favorite bicycle store in the Triangle area. I have been shopping there for several years (since before they moved) and find that they are consistently helpful, give good advice, and dont always steer me to the most expensive choice. I have learned a lot about maintaining my MTB from their chief mechanic (Jason). I am happy to pay a few bucks more to keep a place like this in town. If we dont support local bike shops, where are we going to go when we need something repaired in a hurry? Think about it the next time youre heading for the trails and discover a blown tire.

Of course theyre more expensive than the internet; they have a brick and mortar store to maintain. What youre paying for is experience-- they can fit you on a bike, give you advice and help that a website cant. Ive been building bikes for a few years now, and Ive found that paying a little more at All Star, but getting the right thing the first time, is a lot cheaper than buying something at a discount off a website, paying to ship it here, installing it and realizing its either not what I thought or isnt what I need.

The absolute best bike store with the best service I have been too. I am brand new to riding and didnt know what to expect, I worked with Martine, she asked me what my expectations were and she made the process so easy and stress free. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase and even emailed me some information she thought I would find helpful. I feel very confident with my purchase and I am so happy I went here to get started!

Excellent local bike shop, they know their stuff and wont try to sell you what you dont need. The service is top notch, I recommend calling ahead and scheduling routine maintenance as they can be busy. That being said Ive come in the afternoon the day before a race and theyve been able to squeeze my bike in to keep me spinning. Are they a little more expensive than a big-big/internet store? Yes, but the experience is totally worth it and youre shopping local.

I bought my kids bike at this store last year (2015) and at that time they told me that they are going to give 50 % if it is just a year old and good condition. My sons bike was in mint condition and he out grew it this year ,and now they say they only give me 40%. Plus customer service is bad - they are rude. So, I decided to go to bicycle chain at Apex. They are so good and I bought my new bike at Bicycle Chain Apex. Will never go back to this store.

This used to be a decent little bike shop, but after several recent visits by both myself and my wife, it has become apparent that they completely lack customer service skills and dont really want my business. Their lack of interest in customers is made even more apparent when you walk a few stores down to the Meat House butcher shop, where they GET the concept of friendliness, helpfulness and attending to their customers.

Excellent service and advice. They helped me pick the right bike and shoes, spent extra time and care getting the shoe and pedals adjusted correctly. Two weeks later, I felt I needed an upgrade and they very generously worked with me on a trade-in. Highly recommended--I watched them interact with other customers with whom they were very responsive and treated with respect. These guys obviously love their jobs.

Bought my Giant XTC Composite 29er here last year, excellent experience. Went in convinced that I wanted a different bike, but the knowledgeable staff got me out the door with a lot more bike for the same money. Brought it in a few weeks ago to change the drive train to 1x10, and Jon did the job flawlessly. Only suggestion would be to add beer taps, and then I would never leave, lol. Great shop.

Visited all of the local bike shops to make a thorough and educated decision and All Star Bike Shops Cary had the best selection, quality and service as well. Martine was extremely helpful and both patient and knowledgable while helping me to decide what bike would address my needs best. In a world where customer service has gotten so poor, they do it right! Highly Reccomended!!!

Excellent mechanic - the guy definitely has a passion for bikes. Bought a cruiser there and paid about $30 more than internet, but total bargain as the bike was perfectly tuned and they help me set it up. Note they are suppose to be moving a few miles down the road to Salt Box Village off of Killdaire Rd in early March 2010. Support you local shops!

They have always been extremely courteous when I come in needing help! Even though I never buy huge expensive items they still dedicate the time I need to find what I am looking for. The best part I have never walked out of the store without the product I wanted. They are extremely well stocked for all sorts of parts and pieces.

Great service. I took my bike in to get checked out. After a quick review they thought I needed a new bottom bracket for about $50. When I came to pick it up, they said it only needed tightening which only cost about $15. Thanks for being honest about the fix and not overcharging!

First time in the store for a tire repair. They stopped what they were dong, repaired the tire and checked the bearings. Out in less than twenty minutes. Very satisfied unlike the other bike shop I went to in Cary. Great customer care.

Manager is deceitful and dishonest. Penny wise and dollar foolish. They would be smarter making lifetime customers rather than doing anything for a quick buck.

Best service shop in Raleigh ... great advice for buying bikes too. (Just wish they were open longer hours so i could get there more often!)
