The copy center at this Staples is the absolute pits! They never get my order right. I usually bring in standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper for spiral binding. They use the wrong size spiral or they punch the holes incorrectly. On several occasions I have asked for paper to be hole punched using the spiral binding hole punch machine, one per punched 3 holes in my paper (I could have done that myself) and today the individual punched the holes on BOTH sides of the paper! Really! When I first walked in they were not busy at all. When I asked for a small spiral bound book to be made (a $4.00 job that I had done before) I was told I would be charged $5 for an "Express" fee. Really! the job was going to cost less than this fee. And when was this put in place? Every time I use the Copy & Print center at this Staples, I am greatly disappointed. Take your copy & print requests to another Staples or another store all together. Oh, lets not forget, most of the folks in the Copy & Print center are either rude or they just ignore you. One was on his phone when I went in today. I am really disgusted by the service in this store! I am a rewards member and not a happy customer!

I saw a deal online in regards to a desktop that i was interested in buying it so i called the staples closest to me. They told me that they didnt have it in stock but the Bay Ridge branch has 2. I called the bay ridge branch and a male operator picked up. I asked if he had that desktop in stock and was put on hold for 10 before he told me that they didnt. So i told him that i was told that there was 2. He put me on hold for 5 more minutes then told me that yes they did have it in stock so i asked him if one of those desktop is a display, he put me on hold for 10 more minutes. He then told me that one of them was a display and that they are currently out of stock. FINE! I then asked him if he can check to see if they had it in any other staples location. HE SAID "Im not allowed to check that for you." I said "But i called another staples before and they told me that you had 2." He said "They arent allowed to do that." So then i asked to speak to a manager and he hung up on me.... I regret not having his name but he didnt seem motivated to help me at all. This event happened on Saturday September 27th around 5 oclock at the Bay Ridge branch of staples.

Ive never had a horrible experience at this store, but Ive never pushed the service envelope by repairing a computer or making a special order, and so forth. They do have a good selection of office supplies (as you would expect) at ordinary prices. As a negative, they have seemed chronically short of cashiers and help on the ground floor in the past. Sometimes Ive wanted to ask a question about some equipment which might actually have resulted in a sale, but there seemed to be nobody around. Good air-conditioned spot on a lazy summer afternoon to browse roller ball pens, and relive the childs yearly fantasy that if he just had *this* particular cool pen and notebook, he would be wickedly productive during the school term.

Fabiola is very rude and has no customer service skills at all. She is far from helpful. My company has an account and we have been doing business with this location for years, due to her attitude towards me, we are seriously considering canceling our account. There are other helpful staff at this location and she is definitely not one. Its as if she was angry to do her job. Aside from me there were other customers complaining about her attitude and the way she was treating them. This is not a personal complaint. She needs to learn to work on her customer service skills. She gets zero stars!

Guy at copy and print counter was kind of rude. I printed out several copies of resumes and work related documents. Didnt even offer me a bag for my stuff even though it was clearly raining outside (no I didnt have a bag or purse with me). Also, by the time I made it to the platform to wait for the train back home, I realized he never gave me back my USB drive. So I had to walk back to the Staples, and upon entering, I see my flash drive sitting on the counter, while he was on the other end, not close to my USB drive talking on the phone.

There are no words to describe the staff at this place. I went to the copy center, and waited 5 minutes for an employee to assist me. There were 6 employees at the counter, all who saw me and consciously ignored me in favor of standing with the group and gossiping about another worker there. I wish I could say this was a one time occurrence, but being ignored by the copy center is pretty much expected every single time Im there. On the plus side, they have a huge selection, and the sales can be great.

I consider this Staples average for what its worth simply because they stock the same items as any other. Beyond that they also offer the same services, however the layout is peculiar and some sections are in the basement. They stock quite a lot, enough for more office needs but be aware that not all things are available in-store, as some are available online only. Theyre swamped during back to school season, so be mindful of that, but otherwise is typically empty. Customer Service is hit or miss.

HARD SELL on laptop insurance. The sales guy who I bought it from tried once. I advised that I would purchase the manufacturers extended warranty. At check-out, the manager again pushed hard to sell me the insurance ($150 on a $600 laptop). He attempted to instill a sense of fear if I refused to purchase this additional "protection." Be aware of this when visiting this store. Plus service is very slow. My opinion.

Bad printing services experience, came all the way from Staten Island to make extra large original copies and after waiting for the paper to be changed and several customers in between the large scanner had a line across the copy! Now I have to go somewhere else to use a different scanner, because this one needs a technician to fix it. They need to calibrate and text the equipment each day!

First of all not only did the techs here fix my laptop great, but they also helped me through a very distressing time when it crashed. They were up front with all the possible costs, and when they found the problem, they called me and let me decide if i wished to go ahead with repairs or not. completely honest and informative. I will definitely come back if anything goes wrong again.
