I dont think Ive EVER seen the type of disrespect this dealership dishes out. Ive worked as a sales in NEW CAR dealerships from Kia All the way up to Audi. I literally went to a competitor to buy a car just because thats what my girlfriend wanted. Lets start with the appearance of the salesman. He was dressed as if he was either going to a night club or just came back from one and went straight to work. When I get to the dealership please keep in mind I was READY TO BUY. I asked can I test drive one of the cars. He says no they are short staffed on Sundays and they dont do test drives. Which I guess sounds reasonable although its not like he was the only one and had to close the store to take me around the block. So I completely would of believed him if I didnt see a salesman walking across the dealership with a dealer plate ready to go on a test drive. When we sit down to do number the guy asked if weve every financed a car. She said no when I said we only wanted to put $1,000 and the $3,000 he requested wasnt even needed. He said "I DIDNT KNOW YOU WORK FOR BMW, WOULD YOU LIKE TO SWICH SEATS?" I didnt know someone could determine how much I needed before calling it in to a bank. (Consumers please keep in mind Its always and estimate on the amount thats needed down unless he actually gets up and goes to call it in to the bank) When I told him my girlfriends score he told me BMW Financial wouldnt even look at me and that I am wasting my time. I told him I got an approval at Mercedes at 4.99% he told me go there and buy a car we cant help you. WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND TELLS A CUSTOMER GO BUY AT THIER COMPETITOR, WTF?!?!? After begging the guy to call it in to the bank he got pissed and said we require $500 deposit to call it in to the bank. Does that even make any sense? NO. Car salesman or not it makes no sense. So anyways guy calls it into the bank and it gets a automatic decline. I knew it would but he goes "see I told you 6 times but you dont listen, so this is what you get" I asked nicely can you just call the bank and see whats the max they would do and at what rate because the vehicle was a CPO and banks offer special programs for them. I just want everyone to know if the guy would of actually done his job and took me as a serious buyer instead of treating me the way he did he would of found out. I had $11,000 to put down on a $20,000 trust me the deal would of got bought my BMW FINANCIAL but once again I didnt know what I was talking about. Please avoid any contact from the this dealership ESPECIALLY on a Sunday. Dont walk RUN far far away from them. I went to a Luxury dealership and guy a buy here pay here customer experience. I am respectfully not going disclose the salesmans name because I am not doing this to get anyone fired. BUT just know this isnt the dealership I would ever recommend anyone to go to. They make you feel as if you were asking for something for free. The finance manger didnt even sit down out of respect to greet me or say good bye. He pretty much told me Im a lost cause. WOW!

If I could give a zero I would. My recommendation is this; if you decide to buy a BMW just be aware that the impressive reputation of BMW and their most sought after fleet of vehicles is so strong that it has lasted well beyond its actual current ability to live up to it. BMW is not the same company it was lets say, 10 years ago. Secondly, be even more careful about which dealer you decide to do business with because there is no synchronicity between the many privately owned dealerships. Its a total fluke, as you could discover doing business there at Life Quality. Youre bound to have a great experience at one dealership and a downright nightmare of a time at another. This inconsistency drags the value of service below what anyone would expect of this company. As a 7 time owner/lessee of BMW vehicles I rate Life Quality as the worse. I was sold a lemon disguised as a 535 xi back in September of 2014. Since then I have been to the dealer closer to my home in Tenafly, NJ about 7 times for the same problem. Within the very first 2 months of purchasing the car it shut off on the FDR drive and I had to wait for police and a tow truck to get the car off of the dangerous expressway. I called several employees at Life Quality about this issue and after the spin and fast talk, nothing was done. I got stuck with the car which continues to offer the same problems. BMW corporate has not offered a fair resolution, which creates even more stress & resentment in this situation. Ive had to hire an attorney to take this case to court for further evaluation. The car was a lemon, and there is no way the employees at the Certified Pre-Owned Dept didnt know that before they sold it to me. I am currently on a quest to retrieve all records for this car dating back to its original owner. Something just isnt right. If you have the time to read the reviews all the way down for the past 6 years, you will notice the extreme inconsistency in 5 or 4 star reviews. As you will notice, 1-star reviews are usually a few reviews away from the 5/4 star ones. To me that says this dealership is not up to par, and perhaps the staff has been making extra efforts recently to ask customers to leave a good review as soon as they buy a car. I suspect this as the main cause for the many good reviews we find here. It takes time to really be able to rate a company. After many years of being a BMW owner, I am definitely at liberty to speak to this situation. BMW was once my favorite car and I swore by the company and their relations with its customers, but this is no longer possible. My money will be spent elsewhere once this is over. The level of loyalty between BMW and its customers is off, and it is simply not possible or in the best interest of a BMW car owner to remain loyal to a company that does not back or support its product when it fails. Good luck with your dealings and hopefully similar unfair business practices are not bestowed upon you.

I got my car in less than 15 minutes! Tell that to Geico! If you are like me you start your day with coffee, and I frequent a place across the street from my wife Micheles office in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. It is one block from Life Quality BMW on 4th Avenue. Wednesday morning I run into one of the nicest guys ever.. Dennis Cropley, who got us our last car, after a big hellos and I tell him "D...(its what I call him) great to see you man, (insert big hug here)... I was just saying to Michele...I have to call you. I have to make an appointment with you, the lease on Micheles car is up this November" He says "Son" (he calls me that, the funny thing I could be his dad!!! I digress) "we have this great program going on through BMW called Pull Ahead if you have 6 months or less we will get you into another car" He continues "You know, I will find you the best imaginable car within your budget" Needless to say I am intrigued...so I tell him I am going to talk to Michele, and I will call him" he pays for my coffee and goes on his way. This took about 5 minutes if you are keeping track. As any middle class family, you want the best rated car, at a great price, I am no different, but like most of us a car purchase is a major expense and it comes with certain angst. So I finally get a chance to tell my wife that night, on way home from her job and she tells me, "You should have told me earlier...we could have went today. OK lets do it, go see him tomorrow!" She talks I listen!! Thursday morning, I call him, he says "I have a great car for you, come in now" and I go to the dealership. Now if you have ever gone through the process you can be a little stressed during the steps of looking, trying to pick options, colors, etc. let me walk you through this one.... 11am I walk in, exchange hellos, hugs and handshakes 11:03 he describes the car, he explains the pricing with fees included in the payment or paid up front 11:05 I call my wife tell her the car, the deal & the payments, she says "Do it" 11:06 I tell him, get the paperwork started, he is already in motion 11:10 I am filling out & sign the paper work, the car is ours and being prepped for pick up, DONE! In about 12 minutes we are in a new car, now I am not going to get into specifics about price or any of the other particulars that are involved, lets just say that we have been driving BMWs since 1999, so being aware of their prices is in my wheelhouse. I have a fully loaded 2014 328i X-drive Turbo and I aint crying about the payments...lets leave it at that! So that is my story of our new car, now this may not happen for everybody this fast for you, but when you have a guy like Dennis Cropley and the rest of the team at Life Quality BMW on your side, lets just say its a no brainer!!!!
