I would give less than 1 star if that was an option. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased my furniture in the beginning of August. It is now Sept. 3 and I still do not have all of the pieces to it. I ordered a king size bed with storage and a new mattress and box spring. A part of the headboard was missing, the same part on the other side was damaged. it took almost 3 weeks for replacements to be shipped. I wanted under bed storage for both sides, sales rep only ordered it for one side, had to order another set after we picked it up and saw it was never ordered in the first place took another 2 weeks. Once we had all the pieces tried to put it all the together there was still hardware and 1 board missing. I called customer service, waited over 32 min to speak to someone, only for them to tell me to call another number and that number was after hours. I t is a holiday weekend and I will not be able to even get the parts ordered until Tuesday! I have so many unresolved issues and the customer service has been terrible. The mattress that I ordered is a Ashley Signature Mattress and I hate it. I called after 4 days of not being able to sleep because the mattress is too hot and has a defect on the right side, a large concavity in the mattress, they said they can send out a tech to look at it but they wont be out until Sept. 10 a month after I got the mattress. The customer service person that I spoke to at that time basically told me too bad. Then tried to tell me I need to sleep on it for 30 days to "break it in" I explained the indentation in the mattress is not going to fix itself. I was willing to pay a restocking fee to return it and they wouldnt even let me do that. Ive never heard of a furniture company refusing to return a product especially when defective. This has been by far the worst buying experience and after talking to others that have purchased from Ashley they have all had similar problems where the furniture was damaged or did not match or they just never received it. Needless to say I know I will be letting everyone I know not to purchase from them, and I definitely will be going to Levin or Wayside for all of my future purchases. They have no return policy for mattresses, NONE!

My Salesman was Dion, he was uninformative, rude and arrogant especially when he realized I was no idiot. I cancelled my order on the second day. You have 3 business days in the state of Ohio to cancel a contract. Thank goodness, because I could tell cancelling was not an option after that. They made me get on the phone with their corporate office to tell them myself that I wanted to cancel my $3,000 order. The person on the phone said OK. When I hung up, I asked the receptionist for something in writing indicating I cancelled the order, she told me she had nothing, I insisted she write cancelled and sign her name on my contract which she did reluctantly. This company FORCES you to take their extended warranty when buying furniture 36 months same as cash. The cost is $299.00 and their delivery fee is $169.00. So you can expect to add a minimum of and extra $500 on your purchase. I have told everyone I know to NEVER go there. I went to Levin, they were fabulous and the quality is 100% better. I tried to comment with out a rating, you have to pick one *, they deserve no rating. FYI = read the whole contract, knowing the size of your space is your responsibility, if you cancel because of the furniture doesnt fit - there is a 25% restocking fee.

In Cleveland Ohio the Ridge Park Square location, I have been waiting forever to receive my bedroom sets for my children. The salesman explained that my set could be adjusted between a full and a queen. On the day of delivery they explained that it could only be set up as a queen after I purchased full mattresss delivered from another place so I had to exchange and arraigned for new mattresss. While they were setting up my furniture the delivery man pointed out how scratched up the dresser was and called immediately, then he noticed that the second set did not have a headboard and was not on his manifest (he was awesome). The store then tried to act as if they were doing me a favor by ordering the headboard and new dresser and then told me it would not come for at least 3-4 weeks. I had out of town guests this weekend and this store, order and customer service has been nothing but a nightmare. They did not discount my furniture, offer me a full size alternative nothing but "Oh we are so sorry for this". Its sad when the best thing you have going for you are the delivery guys.

Ashley Furniture advertises that they cut out the middleman by making and shipping their own furniture. This is a blatant lie. I purchased a tv console with a built in fireplace and have not received the hardware to put in the shelves and now the remote wont work. I have been contacting Ashley Furniture for 3 MONTHS about this. They keep telling me that theyll send the missing parts and they never do. I was also told that I should contact Dimplex (the manufacturer). I was not given the proper information and had to call Ashley Furniture several times to get the correct information. Then, when I asked them for a copy she said she would email it to me and never did. Then, I called back to remind them and she said with an attitude "IM GOING TO EAT MY LUNCH FIRST AND THEN ILL SEND IT TO YOU!" Very rude and poor customer service. They only sent it to me when my husband called and yelled at them. So the moral of the story is Ashley Furniture sucks.

I had purchased a sectional 6 months ago with the protection plan. Being that I have a two year old son whos being potty trained, I had to cash in on the protection plan. I called up the store, spoke to Haliah and within minutes she had ordered two replacement cushions to be shipped to my house asap. Little did I know that Ashley protects me for he first year! Customer service like this is extremely rare. It does not get better than this. She was sweet, helpful and was able to pull up my information immediately. The salesman who helped us with the purchase was also wonderful. He was patient, informative, and honest. I am grateful.

Stopped at Ashley first looking for living room furniture. Ross was very helpful and explained the different types of support, which was what we were looking for. Not pushy at all and even told us to look around before we made a decision. We returned to Ashley after four other stores. I was a little disappointed when we received our delivery date which was almost a month for a non-custom made sofa. Would shop there again.

The displays are lackluster compared to other furniture stores. Most of th items they show you on a big touch screen but do not have in the store. The salesperson are also pushy and do not seem to know much about the items they sell. The one we worked with had to keep asking other people for answers, maybe he wad new but overall a bad experience. Only plus was a nice parking lot.
