I have been in a few times in the past couple weeks and I am continuously impressed with the sales and service Wyckoff Cycle offers. The owner Mike is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and personable, as is the full time mechanic. They have an excellent selection of bikes to choose from, whether you are looking for a hybrid, road bike or mountain bike. I took my father in to purchase a bike and he found the perfect one after being able to test ride several that suited his taste. Having so many options was great. From what I see, they also have an excellent selection of kids bikes. The prices are fair and knowing the service that stands behind them, I never hesitate to invest in the products they carry. Mike was even so kind as to order stuff for us when a certain pump we were looking for was not something normally carried. He emailed as soon as it was ready to be picked up. That is awesome business right there! I wish these guys the best of luck and know that I will be making all my bike and bike related purchases through Wyckoff Cycles for years to come.

I went to Wyckoff Cycle in early July 2010 just to get a spare tube, and in a pinch, the price was good. You might find a deal someplace else online, but with shipping costs versus the convenience of getting what you need, its acceptable. There definitely are more expensive shops in the several miles radius. In terms of stock, its a small shop, but they had what I wanted, including a tube patch kit, also reasonably priced. Didnt check prices on bikes, but they seemed to have a good variety. I do like that they offer brands like Raleigh and Orbea. Both brands have offered some premium hardware, even (on Raleighs part) resurrecting steel as an alternative to carbon fiber. Which is good to know. And worth a look. Last but not least, the location of the shop is great. Right on the corner, within walking or rolling distance of multiple coffee and pizza shops, banks, pharmacies, etc. Sure hope these guys stick around for a while.

I just recently had my old 80s Bridgestone steel frame bicycle tuned up and had some new parts switched out (wheels, brakes, misc. parts). On first conversation they suggested a new bike. Fearful that they were just trying to get me to spend a lot of money, I went in anyway to discuss with the option of just tuning up my bike or getting a new one. To my pleasant surprise they told me what good condition my bike was in and suggested I just use this one as a beater through the winter and wait until spring for a new bike. It was obvious they had my best intentions in mind and they werent just trying to sell me something. Turn around time for my bike was less than 4 days. And you can bet your butt Ill be supporting this shop for a long time for all my bike needs. Def go here. Def. Def. Def. They are great!

As the other reviewers stated the owner, Michael, was great to work with. We bought a bicycle for our soon to be 5 year old daughter and Michael was great with her. I could have gone to the local bike shop, less than one mile away, however many people recommended driving 2 towns away to Wyckoff because of the reputation of Wyckoff Cycle. Michael was personable, knowledgeable & friendly; everything you would hope the local businessman would be. The bicycle comes with one year of free service and lifetime adjustments. None of which was mentioned until after we made the sale. No pressure, no selling, just trying to match you with a bicycle that will meet your needs. I can highly recommend Wyckoff Cycle & Michael without any reservation. Very satisfied all around experience!

I have been going to this place for bike repairs since they opened up shop and have had nothing but amazing service every time. Mike is consistently helpful and very knowledgeable about every aspect of keeping my bicycle in tip top shape. He goes out of his way to explain what needs to be done and what my options are regarding parts and prices. It is a rare thing these days to get tremendous value for goods and services, and I appreciate having exactly that every time I deal with Mike and Wyckoff Cycle. Thanks again for everything Mike!!!

Purchased three used bikes from Wycoff Cycle. Had two issues total with two of the bikes. The first was a loose bike seat that was caused by an issue with the seat post. The part was replaced and fixed quickly. The second issue was hardware falling off the bike due to lack of maintenance on our part. This time the owner was less than thrilled but nevertheless replaced the hardware and fixed the bike quickly. Ultimately it was a positive experience all in and I would likely buy a bike from this store again.

Recently, I had a custom mountain bike built by Mike at Wyckoff Cycle. It was a great experiance dealing with Mike, who is extremely knowledgeable with the selection of bike components. Mike being an experience rider and knowing the type of rider I am, suggested various brands and models for each component. He advised me of the pros and cons and weighted in on pricing. We reached my goals on the bikes ride and weight. Repair work is turned around fast and I never had a problem with any of the work.

I went there interested in finding out more about mountain biking as I am looking to take up the sport. Mike was very informative and helpful. He answered all of my questions and told me more than I even knew to ask about. I was very pleased with the service considering I went in telling them I was not looking to buy a bike at that time (other stores would not be nearly as helpful if I told them that)

This is the absolute best place to go if you need bike service need to buy a new bike or just looking for some new information. Mike wad really helpful I came on Saturday and they told me they could only do flat some minor repairs I had a crap bike that I needed to get fixed and they stayed over 2 hours to get it fixed it.I wad also able to pay over the phone this is the best bike shop ever!
