This place is way over priced. I had bought two bikes that I was having trouble putting together so I called, asked how much they charged and I was given a price. I thought it was a bit excessive but there really is no other bike shop close to me so I took them down. First it was my sons bike, it was put together and first time my son used it he had no breaks. So I took it back down and they did adjust and fix it. I bought an adult 3 wheel bike so I called, told them what kind of bike I had and asked how much to put it together. I was given a price and again I thought excessive but it was close so I took it down. After completing my bike I paid him and I am guessing it was the owner said to me that I got a deal! He charged me $35 and he said he usually charges $50. When I called I didnt ask for a "deal", I asked how much he charges and I was given the price. Next, about 3 weeks later my son was hit by a car and his bike is damaged. (my son is okay) It was the cars owners fault so I needed to get an estimate as to how much it would be to fix it. So I took the pictures I took down to this shop and was met with a rude attitude. He wouldnt even look at my pictures and told me he charges to give written estimates because he has to look at the bike and write down what he sees. I said how much do you charge? He said $35. I said, "$35 just to tell me how much it is going to cost for YOU to fix it?" He said that I was getting a "deal" again, and that he usually charges $50 for estimates, then walked away from me and went into his shop. After spending money in his over priced shop this is the attitude I am met with! I was really irate when I left. I called another shop not so close to me, and presented him with the same questions. He told me to bring the bike in and he would look it over and give me a written estimate. I asked him how much he would charge for the estimate. He laughed and said "Maam, we dont charge for estimates, ever!" The owners of Legends Bike Shop is a money hungry rip off artist who doesnt care about the community he is making money off of. I support local mom and pop shops but this shop will never see another dime of my money. And I will never recommend them. I will give my money outside my community now.

I had 2 bicycles which I brought to adjust, 1 was a brand new road bicycle and the other one is a mountain bike that I used often but at that time only required an adjustment on the gears. It was my first time on that store so I didnt know about their costumer service and what quality of job they do. For the adjustment of the new bicycle was over priced but any way I decided to give it a shot because I wanted to used for my triathlon training and the mountain bike he said that he needs to check the condition and depending on that I will be charged so knowing my.... MY BIKE I knew that it only needs a quick adjustment on the gears because when I was pedaling the chain skips gears any way I left that day in the morning and they call me back 2 hours later telling me that my bikes were ready. The new one it was the adjustment so no "NEW PARTS" needed BUT my mountain bike ...... according to him he starts telling me something like this " well you know your bike needs a part that is badly used and you have te risk of an accident if you dont fix it now the part cost about $80 dls plus installation" ..... I just was listening to him telling myself in my mind that he was trying to have easy money so I tell him NO TO DO ANYTHING and I took my bike then he try to tell me that that if someone else fix my bikes they might say that everything is ok and adjust only the gears at that time I could see in his face the shame because his trick didnt work with me..... MAKE SURE what really need your bike support hard honest working guys and say no to the LAZY ONES LIKE THIS GUY.

Grim the owner is the best in the industry!! Brought a few of my old school bmx bikes there for tune ups and installs as well as my new school bikes and hes always on point and maticulous with his work. He tells u exactly what should be done and does not bs you like a mechanic would do. His prices are on point w every other shop in the area and can get you whatever you need if its not in stock at the shop. Ive brought family and friends there and have never been disappointed. If I could give 10 stars I would Bc I always leave there super happy with his work. Forgot to mention him and his son are both dope riders and both know anything you need to know about bikes. Most places in the area they just know how to sell a bike but these guys ride and know how to cater to your specific needs

My buddy introduced me to this place and told me how Grimaldo has been a BMX and Freestyle guy for a long time and that his son is now into it. These guys know their stuff! I am restoring an old school BMX bike and I went there to buy some random parts and get them installed. They were working on another bike at the time but helped me out right away. They did the work while I waited and had some cool conversations too. The bike has never rode or looked better. His son also put on a little freestyle show afterward. My new bike shop.

My husband bought some items here and talked to the owner about bikes, and seems very knowledgeable. My husband said he would trust him with service on his "baby" if he needed. Also he has every Sunday a group ride for anyone who wants to join.My husband will likely go one day. To the other reviewer who complained about customer service, I cant imagine what he means by poor service, this guy was so nice and helpful. Perhaps that reviewer had a snob-attitude problem. Call him if you have any questions.

I bought 2 bikes at a police auction that had multiple problems - I took them here and they are like brand new! The price was great and they were ready exactly when they said they would be. On a side note, while I was there - a couple shady seeming people were trying to sell them a couple brand new bikes in boxes and the owner turned away the people and asked them to leave. This made me feel really good about the integrity of the shop.

I brought the bike in for service. Index shifting to top ring of crank wasnt working, but rear shifting was totally not working. They fixed the rear shifting, but I took the bike out on a ride and guess what? Crank shifting wont move to the top ring. So I can adjust it myself but after $140, why should I? Ill keep looking for another place.
