Not that I have a ton of experience with other bike shops, but this place is fantastic. They do great repairs/service for very reasonable prices and they know bikes inside and out. Theyre beyond friendly-- I continue to shop here because many times Ive come in with a relatively minor problem (when I first got my bike) theyve fixed it for free or extremely cheap. Perfect example- I had the bolt on my saddle crack, and rather than try to talk to me into a new saddle and what not, they dug around and found a matching bolt and charged me $2 for it. Its now been 6 months with no problems at all. This is why, now that Im rebuilding my bike and learning to repair it myself, I buy all my parts there. They have a decent selection of parts given the size of the store. They are definitely focused on BMX but they have some mountain and road bikes, and from my experience they can get pretty much any bike you want for you- I think I will be ordering my next bike through them when it comes time for it.

Had a very positive experience at The Bike Shop. Went in to have my rear derailleur re-attached to my bike as a stick got caught in the chain and frame and broke the rear derailleur off of the bike. Chris said it would be done that day or the next but it ended up taking an extra day (no big deal to me). When I picked up the bike everything was fixed better than new using the existing parts, they even tightened the spokes on the rear wheel, adjusted the brakes and the bike now shifts through the gears effortlessly (the shifting was rough and a tad noisy prior to bringing my bike in AND I just had the bike tuned at another shop)! Thank you Bike Shop for a great experience and fixing my beloved Gary Fisher Marlin. I would definitely recommend this bike shop for repairs and will go back should I have any future issues. Cost of everything was $50 which I thought was very reasonable considering what they fixed and adjusted on my bike.

I had them assemble some bikes for me that I had bought on eBay (vintage Schwinns). I called first to make sure theyd do it, upon getting the bikes there Chris seemed pertured with the task. A week later I picked up the bikes and not one was roadworthy I had left specific instructions to inform me what was needed and Id pay to get done. One Continental in particular was in beautiful shape but needed adjustments the seat pole was long and I was told that I should hacksaw it down. Well hell if I had a shop Id assemble them. I took the bikes to another shop in NJ and they uhhhd and ahhhd over the bikes, same ones Chris called beaters. Long story short my Continental runs like a Top as does a Traveler I had taken to him in the past only to be disappointed. His business seems centered around neighborhood kids with flat tires on their BMX bikes. The service is so poor I find myself wondering if the store is merely a front.

I have used this shop many times. The mechanic, Mike, is great. I had Mike tune-up and modify my road bike and it turned out perfect. He listens, makes suggestions and is always willing to help. I wouldnt go anywhere else. In addition to working on my bike I also purchased a bike. Chris and Mike do not let you leave unless you think the bike is perfect. I highly recommend!

I went there a month ago and the change my tube on my bike and i take the bike home and after three day I took out the bike to ride it and is flat I didnt even use my bike at all they use cheap tubes so they can make extra profit They charge me $28 dollars Not recommended place to go I talk with one of the workers and he told me there is no guarantee on job

Came here to get an inner tube for my Ninebot. They didnt have one in stock and spent a great deal of time trying to get this specialty item. Even though they couldnt get it, they were professional and courteous enough to follow up with a phone call letting me know this. Very impressed!
