Very strange people. The one older guy just stares at you from the register or back room and has zero communication skills and looks upset like someone just killed his puppy. I walked In and asked the older guy "hi could I browse?" He looked at me with 3 heads and said "I guess". Then other guy who is completely insane came to assist me. He breathes down your back and challenges your knowledge on bikes. Asks retorical questions and makes you feel like youre flat out stupid. Not a very welcoming place.

I was rolling down 17k on a sunny Sunday afternoon, when I realized that a link on my heavily worn chain was about to break. Amazingly, I looked across the street and there stood Dark Horse Cycles and the guys were having a bbq. The shop was closed, but they swiftly brought me inside and secured my bike in the stand and installed a brand new chain. They guys at Dark Horse were super cool, and helpful. Thanks again!

The absolute rudeness of the owner is freakish. I wish I could use the words I want to on this but Im afraid this wont get published. Just because I didnt want to buy the most expensive bike in the store, he assumed I was cheap and could only afford a cheap bike. He then as I told him I was leaving started mumbling nasty words at me and then got in my face looking for a fight. He is lucky I walked away!

The guys at Dark Horse are very enthusiastic, and really know biking. Every person Ive dealt with at this shop knew the answers to my all my questions, and helped me get what I was looking for. Theyre also very involved in the local biking scene, so you get to see them a lot on the trails.

Very enthusiastic owner. Theyll work with you to get you the bike you need. They can also help you with bike parts. Do keep in mind that they deal with mid range priced bikes, starting at around $400, so if thats above your budget, this is not the store for you.

These guys have bad reviews deleted. Beware. I wrote one a while ago about how I highly suspect their staff being racist, and noted other bad reviews at the time I posted it, and checked up on them and find theyre all gone. Some shady stuff going on...
