I just had my bicycle fixed here. You can tell its a real "main street, mom and pop" type of store. The older gentleman who runs the place is very helpful and knowledgeable. I could tell that he wasnt trying to sell me anything that I didnt need, and it was a very friendly experience. When I called to ask about the hours I could drop my bike off, he offered to stay past closing and wait for me, without me even asking! Huge difference from big corporate chain stores. You can tell, the man cares about what he does, and makes an honest living. On top of all that, the bill was *considerably* less than what I was expecting. Ive never written an online review for a business before, but I had to recommend this place because the experience was so positive! Now, this is definitely the only bicycle place Id go to in the area.

If youre local or even on Route 17 on the way up to the slopes, this is the place to snag your rentals. The convenience if not waiting in line at the mountain for equipment is so nice and they have equipment for kids and adults. The owner is the nicest person and has been in the business for quite a while. He did the fittings himself when I stopped in. Give yourself some time, as I didnt see anyone else in the store except the owner. So if there are other customers, there might be a wait. A little tough to spot as its in a nook off Main St. across from a small gas station.

Walked in on a Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm when they close at 7 pm. Andre the tech stopped what he was doing and took a look at my bike and took it apart. The way he puts it "i would not be able to give you a good estimate until I see whats wrong with it". Bike was ready in 2 days. Received a call for pick up. Exactly the cost that he said and took care of some other extras on site also, small but friendly mom and pop shop. Knowledgeable and passionate tech. Convienance hours. Reasonable pricing, wish I know him earlier. A must visit store in Ramsey. Thank you Andre

The owner was very knowledgeable about choosing the correct skis and boots for my girlfriend and myself. We rented the skis on a Friday afternoon and brought them back on Monday morning and we were only charged for 2 days. If you want personalized service and great equipment rent from Ramsey Ski Shop !
