If you have a bike and dont learn how to fix basic things youll be throwing you $$ away. This shop is nothing special no expert mechanics that are knowledgeable.I have been to this shop many times and each time they try to sell you things that you dont need if you dont know about bikes they will sell you anything and everything. Do your research online and purchase the parts online if you want to save $$ and learn how to work on your bike its so much fun. At least learn how to change a flat or youll be paying $15 at this shop lol you can purchase 2 quality tubes online for that price and learn how to do it yourself on YouTube in 10min. In other words if this is your last resort then go to this shop otherwise stay away.

Found Bushwick Bicycle Shop after reading the excellent reviews and were not disappointed! Opened early and we brought my bike that had been "repaired" serval times for a flat tire.. but was still not holding air for more than 45 minutes. They took the tire off right away and inflated the tube, then flipped the tire inside out and found the tiniest sliver of metal that was preventing the tire from staying inflated. Took it out, patched, put back on inflated BOTH tires, sprayed lube of the gears and paid 13 bucks. In and out in 15 mins and so much happier! Will return and recommend! Dont even waste your time. They only got one star because I cant give them 0. The literal first day after i bought a bike from here in the morning and rode it to work shortly after (i live very close, and my job is a 15min bile ride) the tire completely goes. I had to pay another bike shop to replace both tires! One had a hole and the other had low pressure and popped! When i asked them to fix my squeaky breaks the next day, they tried to charge me! Ive only had this bike 3 days and i want to get a refund but they wont even give me that!!!! Take your money elsewhere, please!

No cooler-than-thou faux-hardcore fixie types (you know, the ones that take their cool bikes on the train instead of actually riding them), but they do great work, are priced right and get you in-and-out in a flash. Best of all, they are reliable. I have attempted to support other shops in the vicinity that basically require an appointment to fix a flat, and then dont bother showing up. These people are solid, go there!!

Update 7/17/2017: They really didnt fix my bike. The creaking noise came back and they just assume it was the bottom bracket but it is actually not. This bike shop is really awesome. Fixed my Bottom bracket cuz it has no grease. Also check some other parts if it was loose. Would go back again, items a bit pricy but what do you expect its a local bike shop. I would still buy there.

Went there with a brand new diamondback recoil 29er comp and was fully tuned and specd the very next day by 11am, Was a little worried because I couldnt find a local bank to pay the very low price of $52 but low and behold they take credit/debit which makes them official.
