Petland on bergenline is great very helpful and know what they are doing. I`ve bought many fish from them and if they didnt have something i needed they were glad to order it for me.The manager in this place is very good and keeps a tight leash on everything.. Many other stores i`ve went to donot know what they are talking about so i`d have to research it.. Also there was a young gentlemen that works at petland was very helpful THAT TOOK THE TIME OUT to discuss what or not i should have in my tank.. I have two tanks 55gal and 120gal freshwater and now getting 200gal which will be saltwater but they dont carry fish for saltwater any of the petlands so therefore leads me to go to a saltwater fish store.. overall i give them 10 stars

All of the employees that were working were in the back of the store talking about drinking and smoking weed. The f word was used in almost every sentence. They saw me standing there looking for things and ignored to offer me help. They were also talking about an animal that was dying and laughed about putting it in the freezer to make it die faster. When I was ready to check out I had to go and get someone. The only reason I bought something was because I had something I needed today. I will never go back. Horrible experience.

the mannager in the store looks very desperate for women, no madder how the girl looks like he will give you a spot to work... i think he sleeps with these poor young girls the state needs to investigate in that store... the store smells like dead animals and they dont know anything about animals..... he is FAT and looks sorry... he uses his position and power to these young girls that need a job which we all need..... i think that is very wrong....

I have to say best customer service from Genesis I have tropical fishes and fell in love with the Jack Dempsey and some semi aggressive ones...He took time to answer all my questions and help me pick fishes that would get along with the ones I had already...So far they all doing good and my fish tank looks great...

Great experience.... Great store and employees overall, the manager Genesis was so helpful and polite to me and my 2 boys, very welcoming. He sold us some very nice fish and explained everything that we need to do to keep our fish healthy. I rate this store 5 star :)

This People Suck I have been going there for 4 months to get my puppy a shot and its always the same excuse. "The vet called out" worst place ever !!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO THERE

Has good prices on suff such as food and other decorative things but I recommend not buying live fish as some of the tanks have either dead or dying fish.
