Placed an online order which was supposed to be ready in an hour for pickup. After waiting almost 3 hours with no e-mail stating the item was ready for pick up I went to the store to ask about my order. Cashier called for somebody named Ronnie (female) who I assumed to be the manager on duty. She asks for my order number and says its being pulled.... sounds good. She arrives with the product and places it on the cashiers belt and tells him to bag it even though the cashier was helping someone else and the bags were directly next to her. I guess she wanted to establish that she was in charge. Then she proceeds to reprimand me for going to the store without a second confirmation e-mail that the items were ready for pickup. If I place an order that says will be ready in an hour, and I arrive to pick it up three hours later and its still not ready... an apology would have been nice. Instead she opted to go the attitude route... so I went the online review route. I guess were even.

i am so furious at how these poor cats were left. There are glass display cages in the store, with a back room for i guess, "petting" The cleaning lady let me go inside the room and i was disgusted. the room smelled of feces and urine. The kittens were running all over, out of their cage. Most of these kittens had eye infections, their eyes halfway shut from all the pus. There was a kitten who had what looked like a cataract, but I wasint sure. The left eye was puffy with a gray-blueish tint. I had attempted to call the manger of the store but ended up with an operator of some sort. He was very short with me and told me that petsmart is NOT in charge of the adoptions, which may be true, but NO cat, abused or not, should be kept like that at ANY pet store. you guys need to do somthing, PETsnotsmart!!!!

June & Wish

When I brought 2 fish in Wayne store, I was told I will have 14 days guarantee and if the fish die within 14 days, I can get another fish or get refund in any of the petsmart store!!! One fish died the 2nd morning when I woke up. I went to Paramus store in hope to get a replacement fish, guess what?! The so called manager whos name is BILL was beyond rude and said all the petsmart on its own and they arent fiancise and they will NOT honor whatever live I brought in another store! He could have explained in a manner way if there is such policy! I cant believe the store would hire someone like him! Anyways, I had always shipping with Petco and never had these kind of issue and they honer 30 days guanantee on live fish! Good luck with petsmart!

I took my 2 dogs to their grooming service, first time there. I walked in to an unwelcoming stare of about 6 groomers and after a curt "can I help you" that very much felt like "what do you want???" One of them proceeded to get my pets info and went to grab her, Obviously Lucy snapped at her, and all of them were SOOO shocked! They all were so troubled that a dog whos never been there, never seen these women and is by nature protective , would react like that! I canceled the appt and my second dogs also! If they dont know or dont want to handle pets maybe they are in the wrong job and I certainly dont want them taking care of my dogs, they are family!!

We have recently added a new puppy to our home . In doing so I shopped at Pet Smart in Paramus at # 60 Route 17. This is where I met Chris Nolting who is a pet training instructor at that location. His time and patience is such a comfort with a new pet owner such as myself. You can see when you meet him that he is dedicated to what he is doing, and as far as Im concerned one of the kindest and conscientious dog trainers Ive come across in many years. He listens to your problems analyzes you and your dog and comes up with solutions ! From possible feeding issues to behavioral problems. A great professional person

If i could give no stars i would...worst experience ever... walked around the store for 15 minutes and recieved no greeting and every time i saw an associate they would look at me and walk away purposely avoiding me. The store was dirty and when i was being checked out i looked at the grooming salon to find the one groomer look directly at me and then becoming agressive with the dog she was grooming. I understand that some dogs are a little harder to groom but to aggressively hit the clippers on the dogs head as you shave him is just ridiculous.never walking into that store ever again.

The stores staff is terrible and rude. Me and my two boys bought a Robo dwarf hamster and when they were setting up the cage the hamster had passed. And we went back to tell them and they were all caring until they pronounced him dead. And they came up to me and said that my two boys were wreck less and careless with the hamster. And they said that the vet said it was CRUSHED.

Bought here two parakeets. Store has good selection of pets and stuff for them. Consultants and cashiers are friendly and polite, helped to find everything for new pets. It was a funny show for kids when they tried to catch parakeets.

I like this store and so do many pet owners. There are always people there. I like to come to the store with my 2 doxies, it has a good spirit. The trainers are great and the groomers are super nice.

I go here very often to buy crickets. Staff is sweet and very helpful. The place is clean and on my first visit a woman helped me with everything because I was a first time lizard owner.

Its a hit or miss with any PetSmart either you deal with a nasty employee or a Cooperative employee..l noticed all PetSmart stores scaled down on bird and reptile supplies...
