First of all this was the ONLY place that Ive been able to find Altum Angelfish in this area that were not only healthy but they wouldnt let me buy them until they were sure that they were ready for me to take home and wouldnt die on me. They kept them in quarantine in their place and would either call me or vice versa to let me know how it was going. These are somewhat expensive fish and this is the type of customer service that people remember. After having had the exact opposite experience in another local place where I bought six expensive Altums and had them all die and the owner would not do anything for me, this was a very positive experience. The fish I bought are healthy and thriving without any problems. There are also stores and internet vendors that sell ersatz (fake) Altums and this was not the case here. Again, a very positive experience and I went back for five more of the same.

I purchased 2 dozen Fish there a few days ago 1 died as soon as I put it in my tank Another the next day And 2 more the folowing..... I went back to the store and owner was not going to offer any refund or replacement, as he claimed the problem is in MY tank. "But for some odd reason in almost every tank in the store, in the type of fish I purchased, I saw some dead fish, and or some sickly ones." Interesting enough all Fish I purchased elswhere seem to be doing very well. PetSmart is just about accros the street, I went there today and purchased many replacements and some new fish as well, all the prices there are less then half of what I paid here. The serice and staff was not matched. Best of all they offer a full refund or replacement should any Fish die within 14 days. If you dont mind spending lots more and getting BAD Fish then this store is fore you.

Been there 3-4 times in the last couple of week. My sons Fish keep dying. Same Fish every Time. I have tested my water numerous times myself, at petsmart, and a friend who runs reptile enclosures. The owner keeps telling me its my water and tank when its clearly not. I went and got Fish from pets smart and they are still alive weeks later. The owner here was super rush rush, and kept telling me to come back in and he will take care of it. Some how every time I left I spent more money on Fish that kept dying. He was no help, and the Fish were bad batches. Owner was zero help in any of it and rude. Always just made excuses that it wasnt his Fish or tanks instead of just finding a solution. Will never go again and as a PLUS, petsmart warrants their fish for 14 days with no added fees. No matter how it dies, they replace it!

The store front is everything you expect of a pet store that specializes in aquariums. I had purchased a female guppy whom I bred in my tank at home. One week after receiving the guppy it developed a fungal disease and died within one day. (Which I led myself to believe was caused from nasty temp changes in my area) So I went back to the store to replace the guppy and THE WHOLE TANK WHERE I BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL FISH FROM HAD THE SAME DISEASE MINE DID! I told the owner and he did nothing for me, just said, "Oh yeah that tank is not for sale..." Not satisfactory customer service or quality. I will NEVER go back because this leads me to believe that they do not take good care of their tanks.

Ive been going to PP2 since I was a very young child. We have always been able to count on them for top quality products, hand raised by small breeder (not inhumanely farmed like corporate) healthy animals. The service is incredibly professional and unmatched in our area. Currently we have a Dumerils Boa-Snuggles and 2 rats-Yin and Yang. With animals such as these the difference in quality from their young lives is amazingly apparent. They are the kindest gentlest creatures. No aggressive tendencies whatsoever from being properly raised as pets.

I've been going 2 pet place II for a couple of years because most of the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable. They have nice fish (a bit overpriced) and are well staffed. Yesterday I had an unpleasant experience with a nasty salesman. I had a couple of questions regarding some fish I was about to purchase and he answered me saying, "yes/no for the third time". What Nerve! I walked out and bought my fish in a different store. I hope this sales rep improves his attitude before he drives away some more customers.

I used to go to petsmart for crickets, but they are always out. i have tree frogs and lizards so I need a reliable pet store. then i went to pet palace and always ended up waiting 5-10 minutes for crickets. this is the first pet store you walk in and walk out with crickets every time. it also happens to have the most amazing tropical fish of any pet store in rockland!

Amazing staff. Always willing to help. Staff extremely knowledgeable We just bought a turtle and we have called at least 5 times within the past 24 hours. They are always willing to spend the time on the phone and in person explaining all of our questions. I would recommend.

Excellent pet store! The people working there are very friendly and helpful. Plus you cant beat the large selection of animals they have. Its amazing and anytime I need something I come here. Have a few pets myself they almost almost always have what I need. Highly recommended!

today i went to this store to get supplies for my fish tank to start it up again.......they helped me choose the right items and told me what fish worked in a 55 gallon tank for the 1st few days....they have decent prices and can help you with most pet related questions.

i have been going there forever and i love it the staff are so helpful and i can always rely on their advice. i have a turtle and he was very sick i called and they told me what to do! now my turtles happier than ever!!!! they are the best!!!

Both Robert and Ray can not do enough for you. While having great difficulty with my pond fish. I was enc outraged yo call at,any time. They took a sincere concern in my fish. I couldnt ask for more.

Best and biggest selection of fish Ive ever seen! They have small pets and snakes too. Employees are always super helpful and nice. The cages are always clean and the pets are always cute

Your paying for what your getting. So it may be more expensive but its better quality fish and they all care about their anaimals and are knowledgeable.

Great service, bought most of my pets from here (fish and 2 anoles). I always buy all of the feeder crickets for my lizards here bc of the great prices！
