On numerous visits the staff has ignored my dog. It leaves me with the feeling that they are missing the point. You can be knowledgeable about product, but weak on salesmanship, and it will ruin your bottom line. Am I wrong to expect a water dish with water in it for walk-in visitors, a treat offer to my canine companion, a little attention for my dog? He is the customer! He should like this place and want to come back. (side note: he loves the drive-thru at the bank - dog owners know what I mean.) I am giving this a 2 star rating because they dont seem to be pet-friendly, which is not what I expect from a small, local pet store. Even if the two young women stop talking to the young man in the store and pay us some attention, the man who worked there previously was far less friendly.

Customer service leaves much to be desired. Very expensive products. I do like using their 10.00 bathing area for dogs. Its a DIY groom center and for 10.00 soap, towels and a dryer are included. ( Shrewsbury location)

Beautiful clean store, fully stocked with great stuff but overpriced. For these prices the staff should be a bit more knowledgeable and helpful. The Hungry Puppy is much better to shop at!
