One of my favorite thrift stores. Huge and spacious, great selection, 25% off every monday (thursdays too, with app), Good quality items - some new. I have saved hundreds of dollars every year I shop there. And, I always receive compliments when I wear clothing purchased there. Convenient to get to by car or NJ Transit busses, - large parking lot. So many departments_ clothing, toys, books, jewelry, household, electronics, yarn & crafts, records & videos, blankets, curtains, furniture, paintings, home decor and more. New, used, quirky, modern, vintage, old-fashioned - they have something for everyone. In general, the store is very well organized and you should have no trouble finding your way around. It is true, however, if you need assistance with something, unless you speak spanish and have a very general question - good luck.

Fifty percent (50%) off everything in the store with VIP card or app during the holiday weekends. Sale dates are advertised on its Facebook page. Unique has good prices, regardless, but the 50% off sales makes the items dirt cheap. I got a heavy wool, full-length winter coat for $9. A designer shirt for $5. Jeans still with tags for $6. Shoppers come out in droves during these super sale weekends, so bring your own shopping cart, like those wheeled granny carts. UPDATE: I was there for the 50% off Labor Day weekend 2016, and it was a chaotic MESS -- more than usual for a holiday weekend. BUT I found a pair of beautiful snakeskin shoes for $3. Take the good with the bad.

Rude manager most of the helpers were nice n the items are dirty for what they told me they only receive donation items they should b selling them way cheaper.update: Just went there today n had worst experience rude supervisor was very rude to my toddler n telling what to do with my kid like shes the mom till I got piss off n asking if there was someone else to attend me she didnt even knew how the birthday coupon works was asking me what to do .i think they should hired more employees with people skill n education because no matter how tired I are u should be able to give ur best at work n other people shouldnt pay with the rude actitud I dont think Im going back again: (

Was horrible and unappreciated costumer experience ever. I tried to buy two racket one had a price written in the frame the other not, the supervisor told that ! nice racket it is new!,but he didnt sold it,the "manager" was called and he told me that the policy is as it no price no sells. Then I loss my racket, is a shame , because many peoples go there to find something valuable , but you see the ignorance of a supervisor and manager. Of course I tried to deal and asked for a price ,but it was in vane. Here you go, be careful the store is totally different when it started few years ago. I think personally that is worthless Good luck..

Great selection of items, has a VIP program where you get even more discounts sometimes even 50% off all items. The store can get messy at times but its the customers who leave it that way. There are always employees tidying up & adding new items as you shop that come from the donation area. They take credit cards & have an ATM in the store. Provide rolling baskets & shopping carts . Items are never returnable.

Unique Thrift Store in Unión City NJ. Is the best in the Town. Here you can shop at your own space,without rushing, or worrying about who is watching you. The Store have a lot of variety articles, clothings and merchandise to select. The price are very affordable. Parking lot it available too, no fee. I love the specials of half price on Holidays. If they get it for free they should sell it cheaper, just because they get them with a price tag from original store or because they are brand names they want to sell them too expensive... salvation army is way cheaper and everyday they have 50% off on selected tag colors, ive found brand name clothes for 1/2 the price of uniqueprices, the only good time to shop at iniques is on the holidays.

Before my review keep in mind its a thrift store, not a banana republic review. Staff is very nice, selection is pretty sizable (depending on the day and what your looking for of course). The mess everyone talks about is customer created, not the staffs fault as they do clean the store. Its a great place to get low price clothing and donate any extra clothes you may have.

This store is not worth rating and if I had too, Id rate it a ZERO!. Customer service the absolute worse! They were not busy, they just didnt want to assist you with anything! Sorry! I will never go back and this was my first and only time in a "UNIQUE" store! They should change the name to " SUBSTANDARD"!!!!

This is a nice store though it seems smaller than some of the other Uniques. I think the lack of hand baskets is probably costing them sales.There arent that many carts and on busy days those without them must carry items in their hands. This has to limit the number of items that some people can manage.

I love the store . The only thing I do notice is that they need to cater to all nationality. When their making announcements its mostly in Spanish. Not everyone speaks Spanish. So if their something the customer need to know. It should be in all languages.

Clean and well stocked. I bought my couch from here for a reasonable price. I just disliked that my husband had to carry the couch up from myunique by himself. I mean the staff should at least bring their heavy items to the main level themselves.

I love Uniques. I have come across sum amazing items @ a great price. They are short on carts like Jasmine mention. I usually get to sneezing as well from the dust from the merchandise. Overall, this is by far one of my favorite thrift shops.
