I purchased an algae eater on 3/19/17, within an hour of having the fish home, the fish died. Naturally we disposed of the fish. I called Petsmart to get a replacement fish and was advised that I needed to bring the "dead fish" with my receipt in order to get a new fish. Having explained that we already disposed of the "dead fish" we were advised that there is nothing they can do. I understand every place has there policies, but why would we keep hold of a dead fish? I am dissatisfied with the service I received. I go to Petsmart once a week for supplies for my other pets and have never seen service this bad. Sincerely unhappy patron!

Colleen and staff at PetSmart grooming in Toms River were WONDERFUL with our dog. We recently adopted an older dog, a Pittbull, and werent sure how she would be with someone grooming her, and knew she was not "animal friendly." Colleen (and Heather) instantly made her feel comfortable and you could tell that they love animals. They went above and beyond to make sure that they took extra special care of her, and the animals around her. They are AWESOME. She has been back to Colleen twice now and we wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

went to get some crickets and normally the young man is very helpful, unfortunately someone else by the name Trean or Trianna or something weird ( couldnt see her name as her back was to me most of the time) served me with a horrible attitude, didnt greet me in a professional manner and was very nasty towards me. They should put those kind of people in the back and not around customers. Definitely put a complaint in to headquarters and I never do that.

I took my Dog who is a rescue and is very timid for a nail trimming. The man told me I must pay first upfront. He had my dog and I ran up paid ran (literally) ran back. He was so mean and rude he said does your dog normally poop on the table I said NO he said she pooped twice. Now MY DOG CANT CONTROL HER BOWELS WHEN PEOPLE COME OVER SHE IS TERRIFIED OF EVERYTHING THIS MAN NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!! I AM BESIDE MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are lucky I gave them 2 stars I brought my dog to get a bath and nails cut and while waiting next to be taken care of I had to wait for the worker to get off the phone talking about stuff that was unbusinesslike. Then as shes getting off the phone a woman walks in and cuts me and the worker did not say a thing. The manager needs to better train petsmart workers.

This place is horrible. They sell bad pets. I bought a guinea pig for my daughter and had nothing but problems after countless vet visits our pig passed away at only 7 months. DO NOT BUY ANIMALS FROM THEM, THEY HAVE A BAD BREEDER AND ANIMALS ARE INBRED!!! THATS WHY WE HAD HEALTH PROBLEMS WITH OURS.

Anything I was looking for, they were either out of or did not stock. Nice sales girl to help me and give me her professional opinion on aquarium related matters. Not terribly displeased but you know, disappointed.

Within 2 days the fish I bought started dying. Within 3 weeks more than 20 fish were dead only 2 survived. Never buy from a store that has dead fish in all their own tanks. Terrible experience!

Good to make a quick stop for pet food. Good variety of canned and dry foods. Lot of accessories for pets. Has grooming as well. Easy to get to from South side of Hooper Ave not North side.

No one on the floor to ask for help. Needed filters for my fish tank. Didnt see any was hoping they might have something that would work. Very poorly managed store. Went to petco.

Veterans inside store went to them for years before dog passed due to Dr. Candella and Tiffany were the only veterans who could Handel our intimidating dog who was just a big baby.

They dont have enough items for my dogs who wear clothes on their therapy dog rounds. The sizes they carry are always too small. My dogs are between 40-60 lbs.

The groomers are great with my lite nipper. He gets his nails done here because I just cant manage him and they handle him great.

Dog training is aweful. Not much in dog clothing. Anything that is really good for dogs in mind blowing expensive.
