Would not recommend to use this Home Depot location at Princeton NJ 08540. Items price stickers on the shelf do not match prices at the register. CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS. When tried to tell the girl at the register about the price on the shelf sticker, got a "Ill call a manager" and then same register girl asked me where I found an item and quickly removed all other items from that location, LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED. Still didnt see a manager. Another guy basically said oh well and since there were no other identical items at that location (removed by register girl) just walked away. Called CS at 800 ** and after over 30 min on the phone, got the speech how someone must of drop it there from customers. Finally Rep on the phone said that they will sell me same item at what was on the shelf price. Told CS rep, that now they wasted enough of my time and now they can send the same item to my house. Was told no, only store pickup ($8 item, not more then 3 pounds) Told the guy thanks and to read the future review on line. Lowes and Harbor freight are both down the street. Avoid Home Depot CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS.

Worst Home Depot. Worst manager named Warren. Totally disrespectful. He lied to my face and then tried to insult me about a question I was asking him. People were with me and thought the same as me about Warrens attitude. He wanted to make me out to be the bad person when confronted with his workers misdeeds. He kept pulling the whole "you are the one that is agitated" and the "you are getting loud" routine that these young people learn nowadays. I was with several other people but NJ is like another country and you dont have your rights. I left the store because "You never accept NO from someone that doesnt have the power to say YES". Some people (not me) believe that customer service steals from customers at the returns department by not beeping certain items. I am not gonna be charged with slander here but other people told me this. If it ever happened to me it wouldve been my fault for not realizing it and would have been my fault for not being more alert or "with it". Sometimes, I happen to be in the area (Princeton NJ) and I check for something I need for a project. Never again.

Went to their lumber dept for recommendation for a specific dimension of lumbar. First, could not find a soul in the department for 15min. I finally went to service desk and the employee simply told me there are no solutions to dimension of lumber Im looking for. When I asked further question, he started to argue with me that what Im looking for cant be done. He looks to his colleague and tells him "will you tell him?" They were rude, unhelpful and unwilling to help. Felt like theyre saying "you CANT do it and were not interested in helping". Went to Lowes down the road. What a difference! Found a helpful associate within 30 seconds, he listened, suggested a solution and gave me instructions on how to convert a larger size lumber to what I need. Done! Out in 5 minutes with the lumber I need and helpful tip to get my project done.

Very disappointing service from this commercial sales desk. Have a large lumber order to price? Hard to do unless you can provide the HD SKU. "Im sorry sir, we dont sell anything by the linear foot. We just sell products by SKU." -Store Manager. Why staff a commercial sales dept if you cant take orders?

I love The Home Depot. And this is the best one I have ever been. I love the people lifter at The Home Depot. Also I will add a McDonalds in the shopping center this Home Depot is in and I will use this shopping center in the new episodes of Corduroy The Bear I will write and produce at Nelvana.

Staff was very helpful. I was doing some electrical work and picking out recessed lamps I did not ask for help, but an employee saw me wandering around aimlessly and helped me out. He took the time to listen to me; understand my needs and provide a solution without sounding condescending.

Usually as soon as I look like Im looking for something a person pops up to help. There is a gigantic pot hole at Nassau Blvd exit onto Route one south. If you could get a contractor to fill that in. It would be a perfect experience.
