If I could rate in the negatives I would. I went in there to get wood to fix a platform bed. I took the wood to the cutter station with some measurements but the width of the wood that I needed was more then the width of the wood that they sold. Ok fine so what could I do? Instead of the guy who cut the wood assisting me with an alternative like a good sales associate would have, this man just stood there clearly making it known he was annoyed & frustrated. I asked him if there was another way I could fix the bed & he said, "I dont know." Home depot reminds me of auto zone, they sell car parts but they know absolutely nothing about cars. So thanks to the guy who was cutting the wood that day, home depot not only lost a sale that day bc I walked out but they lost a customer FOR GOOD. I left & went to Lowes, I explained the situation, the associate took my measures & came up with a solution that would help me fix my bed. Bed is fixed thanks to Lowes. Home depot should not hire ppl who have no idea about home improvements what so ever. To the wood cutter, if you arent happy with your job, quit, there are many ppl out there looking for work & would be very grateful for that position.

Stocking personnel is a disgrace never have what I need . Yesterday the lumber was twisted and warped I said something to an employee they said Im sorry and walked away . Did not ask if I wanted to wait for a fresh bunk nothing its a mess .return policy is a disaster if you but something and its their brand or sold exclusively sold by Home Depot they wont take it back with out a receipt or a drivers license really they know it their merchandise . I went in to buy a complete kitchen for a client the said come back tomorrow $ 8,000 purchase they turned away because it was 30 minutes before closing . Again I go back to the store to get furring strips the said they have 862 of them , I go to the store and I find 3 warpped ones . I go in another time website said 16.25 for the item online go to the store to get it it was 3 X the price and again did not have what I wanted so now I go to lowes they are more friendly and much more eager to help you . I hope this helps anyone reading this . Now I go to other places with people with knowledge.

I went to the plant department yesterday and saw some beautiful plants in need of loving care on the sale rack. I asked about them, but I was told they had not been discounted. I went today and they were gone. I inquired about them and the cashier told me the manager had them destroyed and thrown in the back dumpster. He wouldnt even let the employees buy them at a sale price. This is a crime. Plants are living creatures and people like me will buy them, even when they dont look very pretty, and bring them back with a little care. I was going to buy them for my church. Actually, my church is being refurbished and we have spent a good amount of money at your store. DO NOT BUY WINDOWS FROM HOME DEPOT. They sub contract to unknowlegable and unreliable people. They came and measured my bay window twice and still got the size wrong. Then they gave us a new date and no one showed up. You have to deal with multiple people if there is an issue and NO ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK. I WILL NEVER EVER USE HONE DEPOT AGAIN. I rather give my money to LOWES or just hire a contractor myself and save the money Hone Depot gets a cut of for literally doing nothing.

This is the Home Depot I usually go to. Got all of our appliances for our home from here when we moved in. The gentleman that helped us was really great. He helped us find d what we needed and didnt try to oversell us. Very good experience.

This store is hit or miss. Sometimes I can go in, find an associate to help me locate what I need and be out in 20 minutes. Other times its like they have five people working and it takes 20 minutes just to find someone to help you.

Easy online ordering and pickup. Customer Service Rep at Online Pickup counter was cheerful and accommodating. She even rang up batteries that I grabbed while waiting saving me from waiting in line for that purchase.

These guys are pretty nice - plumbing staff saved me a couple hundred dollars by showing me how to replace a $13 part the plumber wouldnt.
