I spent 2 hours in this store getting all of the supplies i need for renovating my business, when i went into the store i was greeted by a friendly Sales representative name Manny F.... He Helped me around the store and even helped me find every item i needed, when i had a problem he didnt know about he directed me to someone that did know how to help me, Billy in hardware helped me with all of my hardware, hinges, and chain products.... Billy even helped me to the checkout where Jenn rang up my order and checked and rechecked my items to ensure i got an accurate total......... A little kindness and a good attitude goes a long way, not only will i continue to frequent this Home Depot but i will also recommend it to all of my Customers..... i dont know what this store was like a couple of months ago but i can tell you now that this store is filled with friendly, hard working employees that care about getting your job done right......

The Rockaway Home Depot location is great. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I often do in-store pick-up here. For large items, they always have it waiting behind the counter, in a shopping cart for me, ready to roll out to my car. They have great prices on holiday and seasonal decor. The Rockaway location also has a large, well-stocked garden center. Prices are competitive and they stand behind their one year guarantee on plants. The self-checkout kiosks are easy to use and cut down on any lines that may form at the regular checkout during busy hours.

I went there to get propane for the gas grill. Paid for it no problem but went outside and waited, and waited, and waited. Probably had to go back 4 to 5 times to finally get someone outside to unlock the storage unit for the tank. There was even a kid that was walking out who said he used to work there and that the guys that work the front lot for the tanks just hang out in the back hiding so that they dont have to help anyone. When I was finally helped, the person was not apologetic at all.........TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

This Depot like most has bad service. Staff that almost run away when asking for help-just plain ignore you. They dont care one bit about being a inconvienence and rude. I will usually buy at my local hardware stores if they have what I need, plus my local HW usually has certain hard to find gadgets. The Dover HD has about the worst lumber I have ever seen. Its no deal when you spend 4+ hours trying to pick out wood that will nearly be acceptable-and thats for a small job

Martin in building materials was especially helpful showing good initative in getting some plastic roofing cut so we could fit it in our car. Kenny is manager facilitated the cutting with a phone call. Ourcheck out by Maria in garden went without a hitch. Really several employees besides the ones named were helpful to us. Bought and had a sliding door installed several years ago. The slider door has lost its seal and is now fogging. Called the local store where I purchased, but they cant tell me when or what I bought. Apparently they only keep install records for two years. Called Lowes about another install project back in 2010... they pulled the information up in less than a minute.

If there was a Lowes nearby I would NEVER step foot in this store again. Always disappointed when I go there. Being greeted by every employee is a total turn off for me, then they dont carry a typical product or its not a quality product. Come on guys you can do better than that.

My experience has been ok. Have mostly gone for minor things and this branch has most of the stuff we wanted but some of the staff can be quite vague and obtuse when we ask about stuff and directions. Overall, however, would visit there again.

This is a regular HomeDepot. Nothing special. They need to fix their receipt printers at self-service checkout. Not possible to read the receipt, as a result having problems if you have to return something.

Waited for 35 minutes and couldnt find anyone to help with prices for shower doors. The employees spend more time hiding from customers and manager was no help. I will never go to this store again.

I mostly go there for indoor plants. The plants I get there usually survive and are pretty cheap. Theres a 90 day return policy which is great for plants.For everything else, prices seem high.

This Home Depot in Dover NJ is nice and is 1 minute from Rockaway Townsquare. which makes it convenient for when I am up at that mall. This store has a huge selection with helpful staff.
