RE: Simply Shysells review I am both shocked and saddened by your review. When your group left, there was no indication that you had any issues with your appointment. While it is true that you did arrive late, absolutely NO issue was made regarding this, as your sister had kindly called ahead of time to let me know. During that conversation I did indicate to her that I had another appointment at that time, but we would surely accommodate her, as she was just trying on the one gown she had already purchased. Regarding you having to help your sister, I heard her clearly ask for you to accompany her in the dressing room. I finished up my prior appointment, and gave your group 100% of my attention and your sister had not even walked out of the dressing room yet! Im very unclear about where the poor customer service and lack of professionalism came into play... and, I believe your appointment did last for more than a half hour - for just the one dress. I believe the true issue was with taking the gown with you that day. It is true, items in our shop are not insurable, because technically they are "consigned" - being they come from bridal salons and private owners. I have never had an issue with a bride taking her beautiful gown with her, once I explain it is a safer practice and store policy. Im wondering... perhaps my explanation as to why the dress had to taken with you was not clear. I certainly did not think that storing her gown at home for 5 months would spark such an outrage. I work diligently to make the experience of every bride that enters our shop a joyful one! Your appointment included. I did reach out to your sister, and was only able to leave a message for her regarding her appointment. I have not heard back from her. Regardless, I apologize for any miscommunication and truly thought your sisters experience was a good one.

I had such an amazing experience here at Cherished Bridals, I myself am an avid consignment shopper so you can imagine the excitement that came over when I heard that Cherished Bridals is a consignment shop for wedding gowns wait what?!? After all the shops I have been too I came in with no appointment and was hesitant because all the bridal shops I went to...appoinments were necessary. I felt at home as soon as I walked in, Barbara was such a sweet and lovely person to meet. She is the owner and was so helpful. She simply pointed me in the direction I needed to be in and let my sister and I look around and was so easy going about it nicely saying “ If you would like to try on any of the gowns I will be more than happy to set you up in a fitting room.” I found a few and began to try on…held mirrors up, put belts on added veils it was so refreshing to have someone be so genuine and not pushy in the least bit. Needless to say I wasn’t sold on any of the ones I had tried on so while in the fitting room, she says “ ya know I have this one we just got in and I have a feeling you may just love it.” As soon as I put it on I was SOLD I did not want to take it off and so they say if you want to leave the store with it on then that is the dress for you. I am so happy I came here and I will most definitely spread the word around town. Thank you so much for making this a stress free experience!

I really cant put into words how much I enjoyed my experience at Cherished Bridals yesterday. I always said from the beginning of getting engaged I felt very strongly about not spending a small fortune on my gown. My mom, knowing this, did extensive research & came across this petite shop. My wedding is 11 months away & I went to the shop just to "get an idea" of styles I liked. Barbara was incredible. I tried on what felt like a million dresses that I & my family had pulled from the racks, had many favorites but was starting to get overwhelmed by the assortment of styles. All of a sudden, a dress I would have never picked off the rack myself was in the dressing room, picked by Barbara. Long story short, that was "the one!" Its like Barbara knew exactly what dress my body type needed to look exquisite. Not to mention I was able to stay UNDER 1,000 dollars, for what feels & looks like a 3,000 gown!! I cant thank Cherished Bridals enough for making me feel so special on such a memorable day! I will be recommending this shop to everyone I know & I cant wait to wear my dress on my big day! Budget Friendly, Incredible Staff, Tons of Variety to Choose from, the list goes on & on!

The idea of wedding dress shopping was definitely my worst nightmare. Ive been to some of the big name stores, designer boutiques, and one very well known one in NYC (hint...Say Yes to the Dress) for myself and/or friends and I just hated the sales-y, pay as much as you possibly can, pressure to buy a dress 10 months in advance thing. This was the best experience at Cherished Bridals. They took us on a Sunday with an appointment and we had the whole shop to ourselves. These are brand new gowns that have come from sample sales, other boutiques, etc. The owner listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and just helped out. There was no sales pitch, no pressure or making me feel bad for waiting until 6 months before the wedding (seriously, you dont know how many bridal shops push you to buy 10-12 months out) Left with gown in hand, paid $900 instead of over $2k that the dress normally is and I got a designer dress that I could have never afforded otherwise. I definitely recommend making an appointment and going in before you buy something off the rack of a box store or designer boutique. Super helpful, no pressure, no sales tactics and just an enjoyable time.

I came across Cherish Bridals ad in one of the bridal magazines, but I booked an appointment with a well-known franchise venue instead due to the distance. After a horrible experience at the said franchise venue, I decided to try Cherished and I was beyond satisfied with my experience there! Barbara was so attentive, helpful, not to mention patient! I was the only customer in the shop for close to two hours. I cant recall how many beautiful dresses I had tried on...and I ultimately fell in love with the perfect dress, and it wasnt even the style I had in mind! I cant wait to go back for the fitting in a few months. Will definitely recommend Cherished to any bride-to-be.

Barbara was an absolute joy to work with. I went in there with a specific style in mind and told her what it was. She helped me pull some dresses and I pulled some things that I thought would look nice. At no point did I feel like I was being bothersome to Barbara by pulling almost every dress on a rack. I said yes to the dress, the jeweled sash and the veil for half of my intended budget. The shop is kind of narrow so I would not recommend coming with a big party. I went with 3 bridesmaids and we were comfortable. Any more and it may start to feel cramped. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding dress!
