Davids bridal, East Brunswick. Dont go here!!! The new location is huge and beautiful as far as Davids Bridal goes, but the service is horrendous. I went there for my bridesmaids dresses because of accessibility to my bridesmaids in other states and the reasonable prices, and there has been nothing but problems since. First, the sales attendant didnt put the shrugs that I wanted on the wish list, so all of my girls now have to go back (again) and order them. Then, one of my girls dresses came in the wrong size and had to be sent back and when she received the new one, it was the wrong color (orange instead of plum- not even close!). Then one of the dresses had a broken zipper that the sales attendant swore I just didnt have the "touch" for (really? Its a zipper, its supposed to go up and down. If it doesnt, its broken).After that, I received a call from them saying that three of my girls dresses were being held at the store for 17 days and if I didnt get there by end of day they would be sent back, so I rushed down there. I waited for thirty minutes while they attempted to locate the dresses only to be told that they had been picked up weeks earlier, but that hadnt been logged. Its been an extremely frustrating experience, and it isnt over yet. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wish I could give them zero stars.

To second the other reviewers note---dont confuse Bridal Center Boutique with Davids Bridal. They are WORLDs apart! I cannot say enough good things about Virginia and the wonderful experience I had at her Bridal Center Boutique! Everything about working with her and her staff was wonderful right from the start. Firstly, the dresses in her store all have pictures attached to them of models actually wearing the dresses. This seems like a little, nothing detail, but it makes searching through the numerous dresses and racks SO much easier and more productive. Her selection was much better than so many of the other stores I had gone to in the area...I loved many of her dresses, and was lucky enough to find the one amongst the large bunch I had picked out. As if all that wasnt good enough, her prices were very competitive as well! I thought the value was exceptional. My dress came in on-time, fit beautifully, and the little alteration I needed for my hem was done extremely well. Virginia is a true professional and a wonderful, warm person overall. She makes you feel special and beautiful--which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I highly, highly recommend this boutique to anyone who wants their dress shopping experience to be an extraordinary one.

This store is great. Although its hidden and small. They have some beautiful gowns and the service is great. They seem like they actually care how you look in your dress which is nice. I went to Davids bridal and she just handed me dresses. I didnt feel like a bride. More like I was going to prom. I was just looking for a simple dress because I thought I would marry in civil court but now decided to do it in a church. I was nervous at first that I would be walking down the aisle in such a simple dress that I bought at davids bridal. I tried dresses on at the bridal store. I knew that I would be walking down that aisle with one of these dresses! Every girl dreams about her wedding gown and I felt that I fount the one. I guess you can say I really fell in love and I had an urge to cry. I would not get my "real" wedding dress at davids bridal. I tried some fancier wedding gowns at davids bridal and they all felt sort of cheap. I didnt get that feeling of " wow, Im really going to get married and this is the dress!" Well I got that feeling at the bridal store thanks to the staff and Maggie Sottero! :) Now my mother just has to see it ,give me her opinion and pay for it. :)

My experience at The Bridal Center was really great. Before going there, I had tried on so many dresses at so many other shops and was getting extremely discouraged. Although I still have not found "the one" as far as dresses go, I must say I loved The Bridal Center and have not had better customer service at any of the shops I have been to. Their dresses are gorgeous and they have good selection of maggie sottero, alfred angelo, and casablanca. The new owner, Virginia, was a pleasure to work with and was so helpful during our visit (and I brought my mom and 3 bridesmaids with me...so we were quite the handful!) I never once felt pressured into any decisions and Virginia was very careful to stay within my budget range and really listened to what I liked/disliked in order to help me decide. In the end, there were a few dresses that I did like and I will be making another appointment to hopefully try on some others. Even if I dont end up finding the right dress for me there, I would highly recommend it to other Brides. But also - make an appointment. The shop is fairly small so they can really only handle one bride at a time.

I first went to Bridal Center Boutique when the shop was in East Brunswick (my hometown). What initially drew me to the store was that she had the designers that I liked and were in my budget. I was so excited to find out that my appointment was scheduled with Virginia, the owner of the shop herself! A lot of shop owners tend to be all business and just care about the sale, but Virginia genuinely cares about her clients and their comfort. She doesnt try to sneak dresses above your price range into the dressing room. There were tons of dresses on the racks, so my mother and I split up and each picked out a few. Of course, my mother knew better and picked out three dresses that I couldnt decide between! I wound up with a gorgeous Casablanca dress exactly in my price range and a beautiful veil that was the perfect compliment to it. I got SO many compliments throughout the day and felt great throughout the process knowing that Virginia was on my side and always communicative in letting me know about when my dress arrived, scheduling fittings, etc. If you want a no-stress experience, go to BCB!

I recently purchased a dress from davids bridal. I took it to the East Brunswick store for alterations. I paid more for the alterations than I did for the dress and they were horrible. They had to re-alter it 4 times and it is not right! I asked for a refund of my alterations only to find out the manager had to contact corporate headquarters to get permission. I ended up with only a $20 refund and a dress that is not complete. The women talk to you like you are stupid. They blame the bad alterations on everything else but themselves!! I wasnt asking for a miracle. I was sized for the dress and was told that it could be altered to bring in the hips!Do not buy or get alterations from Davids Bridal in East Brunswick. Go to a private owned business!!

Every time Im in here, I feel rushed. I ordered my bridesmaids dress a few months ago. It came in on time but the owner, Virginia, ordered me a 12 instead of the 8 she had said she was ordering. (I am usually a 4). When I was in initially, she had said I was measuring about an 8 but put down a 12 on the order. Needless to say, I picked up the dress and its no returns, no exchanges so Im screwed and need major alterations. Its way too big and way too long. I refuse to get them to do the alterations. I will never go back to this place. I should have known since it was in that sketchy deserted shopping center.
