I stumbled upon Bridal Chateau while browsing through various wedding gowns in a bridal magazine and my mom suggested I give them a call. Driving up to the salon, it looks very unassuming as it is located in a strip mall. However, as soon as my group and I walked in, you know youre in a bridal salon - it has a very glam feel - pretty, shiny jewelry and tiaras in glass displays, dresses/evening wear everywhere and neatly displayed, a sitting area in the front of the salon and in the back near the fitting rooms and a nice chandelier hanging in the middle of the salon ;) I met with Esther and before I tried dresses on, she took the time to ask me what styles and desginers I was interested in. She then took my group and I to the back, in the fitting room area. Esther did an AMAZING job pulling dresses for me to try on. It was clear that she listened to everything I told her earlier regarding, styles and designers I like. While I had an idea of what I was looking for, I wanted to keep an open mind and not be too rigid. EVERY dress Esther picked for me looked great on me and she respected my parents budget by ensuring she only pulled dresses that were within the price range we set. It was as if Esther knew EXACTLY which dresses would look good on me and which ones wouldnt - WITHOUT having to see me in any dress first. Its clear she knows her stuff. As I was trying the dresses on, she was helpful with zipping & clipping the back properly to make sure I got the full effect of how it would look and fit on me. She was extremely patient, attentive, involved and did not rush me at all to make any decision. She allowed me and my group a lot of time in the mirror with the dress on to analyze it. At no time did I feel like I only had 1 or 2 minutes in the mirror to look at myself and make a decision. She kept going back and forth to pull dresses for me and was genuinely happy to do so. I felt she was honest about what looked good on me and what didnt. I tried on about 8 dresses and fell in love with one of the lasts ones I tried on :) Esther even had an awesome suggestion of adding detailed lace straps to my dress and I have to say - it finishes the dress. It feels like my dress is now unique to me. It feels as if I got a customized dress without the high customized price tag. Esther took the time to measure me accurately and re-assured me that even though the sample I tried on was champagne - it can and will be ordered in white. My mom and Aunt were curious to see how it would look in white and Esther took the time to pull up a picture of the dress, in white, to show us how it would look. The customer service we received at Bridal Chateau was incredible. My group and I loved the one-on-one, catered service we received here. Everything went smoothly and I couldnt have asked for a better dress shopping experience :) Thanks, Esther !!!! I would recommend Bridal Chateau to any brides-to-be and their group/entourage -- my family, my friends, acquaintances or complete strangers. Definitely worth checking out !

Terrible experience. The owner Esther was extremely nice and helpful until I realized she was trying to take advantage of me. I went there for a trunk show and she knew that I wanted a specific dress in the trunk show so she knew the amount of money I was willing to spend for the right dress even though I was extremely stretching my budget to make it work. She insisted that I also tried on another dress that she had in the window and kept telling me when I had it on how it was the dress for me not the one I came there for and then wouldnt let me try on any of the other trunk show dresses telling me they just wouldnt compare to the one from the window. Once she realized I liked the dress from the window just as much as the one I went there for she told me it was the same price as the trunk show dress and she would honor the 10% trunk show discount on the dress even though it wasnt apart of the trunk show. I left and did my homework on the dress from the window only to find out that it was significantly less than what she was trying to charge me. When I confronted her on it she told me she could sell it to me for $1800 less than she originally quoted me! Why wasnt I quoted that in the first place? She never expected that I would do my homework and just thought I would buy it from her without price shopping. She figured if I was willing to spend a certain amount on the one dress than why not get that amount out of me for a cheaper dress so she could make a bigger profit. Big mistake Esther! I wont do business with people like that especially since I explained to her that I drove to her bridal shop 2 hours from my house because the bridal shop a 1/2 hour from my house who carried the same designer that I was there to see provided bad customer service because they never returned calls or emails. She said she prided herself in her customer service and taking care of her brides. She knew I was over budget and still tried to take advantage of me not take care of me! The joke is on her because I bought the dress that was in her window that she introduced me to from another bridal salon that was honest and had fair prices!

In these days of internet shopping and big-box stores, it was a pleasure to enter a store where the owner is so involved in assuring a positive shopping experience. Esther has designed a beautiful store with comfortable seating, a large display area with many dresses for brides and brides maids, and well lit fitting rooms. She has a on-premises seamstress, too. The quality of the dresses, jewelry, shoes, and other accessories -- literally everything needed for a prom, wedding, or other special event -- all her inventory is first class. And, in terms of service and pricing, I couldnt be more impressed. And, most importantly, my daughter could not be more pleased. Everything went perfectly from shopping for the dress, for the fitting, for the final touches the day of the "big event" and even afterwards. Esther was always there, involved and caring. She loves to help her customers; you will feel like one of the family when you come into her store.
