Since 2004, my grocery store of choice: The Super Foodtown, located in the Middlebrook shopping Center, in Ocean Township along Route 35 South. Sure, theres a Wegmans about 2 miles down the road, but the Foodtown just had a more relaxed vibe. As far as selection, it really is on par with the previously mentioned super store. A great selection on all food--with a large and very fresh fruit and produce department. Same for the meats/seafood. The organic/health food selection spans 4+ isles, which is very much like having a health food store located right inside the middle of this store. One of the most memorable parts of my weekly trips to Foodtown was taking a moment to say Hi! to Lewis Palmer, an older gentleman who was always at the entry way greeting folks with his warm smile (and rocking a Jets hat, to boot!). Whenever Im back in the Ocean area, and have the need to stop and buy anything from a jar of salsa to some fresh produce, I make a point to stop at Super Foodtown. Great store without the drama of a slightly higher-end grocery store. A+

My intentions was to make a delicious dinner, Prime Rib on sale, purchased that, with baked potato, fresh vegetable and a wedge salad. The prime rib was like eating rope, or shoe leather, very unhappy. I love to cook and take pride as I prepare. I will not shop there any more, because I have been unhappy with there meats. If the store has meat on sale , dont sell us horse meat. shame on you.

Friendly customer service. Its our go to Foodstore. We are always made to feel welcome. Have been going to Foodtown since I could walk. Its like walking into Cheers. Lol. Everybody knows you. Shelves are always stocked, food is fresh, and they have the best meat around. Their Vodka Sauce is delicious. Love the meal deal too.

Maria was a very rude cashier. Most of the time they are out of the stuff thats on sale. I came back empty handed hundreds of time because they were out of the stuff that was on sale. Huge waste of time and gas.

Well, this Foodtown sells milk for $4.39 a gallon and just down the road at Wegmans milk is $2.43 gallon. Not sure why a staple item would be so much more money but it makes you wonder what else is overpriced.

Do yourself a favor and buy their store made 6 layer dip!! Hands down better & fresher than any layered dip Ive ever had. I actually might start buying two at a time because my husband wont stop eating MY dip.

Top quality meats, vegetables and deli...clean and friendly atmosphere. I do feel prices are higher than other places, but they do have some good sales and I enjoy shopping here.
