I was motivated to write this review in response to "Annas review". Whole Foods produce is by and far the freshest in the entire area (Deans Market also is a good choice for fresh organic variety). The way you will get it fresher is if you grow it or pick it from a farm. And as far as a "poor selection" I have seen fruits and vegetables in Whole Foods that I never even know existed. I have shopped at A&P, Stop & Shop, and Shoprite to try to save money on organic produce only to find that not only minimal but most of the time non-existence. Compare it yourself...I couldnt believe myself and while I would love my food bill to be less there is really no savings to be had. Just all the produce that I shopped or but from those stores went bad much sooner than the produce from Whole Foods hence Whole Foods must be fresher. When it comes to Whole Foods prepared I have had maybe one or two bad meals and I have been shopping there for almost 3 years. The service is 100 times better than any other food store in the area (they must treat their employees fair because a lot them have been there for a long time). Bottomline is Whole Foods has the best value if you want natural & organic food. Anna you are definitely entitled to you opinion but it is so unfounded it compelled me to write this. I wonder if Anna works for Shoprite or somewhere because her comment is out of leftfield???

Beautiful store with very attentive and professional staff. With wacko New Jersey liquor laws (a racket!), this is the only New Jersey Whole Foods location that has wine and I think some premium beers, too. Best organic selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, anywhere in the state. Ive noticed that the fruits and vegetables (particularly apples, berries, pears) have MUCH LONGER shelf life and seem much higher quality than at nearby Shop-Rite stores, which I credit to Whole Foods organic "supply chain" and better food buyers. Local managers and staff keep the store immaculately clean, and there is ample seating in the front of the store to eat lunch. A nice touch is that there have pre-made bags of shaved ice, free and self-serve, for customers to keep cold groceries "cold" while driving home.

I once purchased cubed beef that was on sale (and prepackaged) and upon removing the packaging discovered the bottom of the beef (package side) was very dark, almost appearing as though it had been cooked. I called the store and talked with a manager who told me it was fine but I had the option to return if I chose to do so. I did not return it but should have done so. This was my error in judgement. This store has lots of fun specialty items that years ago would require one to go into the city in order to purchase; you will pay for the luxury of having these items easily accessible to you though.

Its rather expensive.. They need more organic produce. The music is too loud and very much for a younger generation. Ive asked for softer music sevrral times, but they are not accomodating. I just wear ear plugs. If you ask for a particular item, they are very helpful and kind and go out of their way to locate the item...even check in the supply rooms. Of course due to its size there is no comparison to Manhattan. Hot food choices are limited and they tend to run out. All in all, its a nice store Its very convenient for me.

Terrible overpriced produce and awful selection. I hate this store so much. The produce section is terrible. The store claims to be commited to selling locally grown produce but often I find a better selection at Shop Rite and they are way less expensive. The produce section is also poorly stocked and not fresh at all. The prepared food is just terrible as well. Not fresh and not good. The only reason I still even shop at this Whole Foods is that they do have excellent meats and cheeses everything else is terrible..

Very expensive. I just bought dinner there, I had fingerling potatoes grilled squash and cauliflower meatballs total hot food weight was about 1 pound. They were all very good. I also purchased a bag of tortilla chips and some sliced melon about half of a pound. The total cost of my order was about $28 more than I normally spend on 3 day of groceries. I only shop here when Im craving food from their food bar.

Typical clean friendly Whole Foods with a positive twist; they sell wine and beer. Must try their own wine "Three Wishes". Awesome go-to everyday wine for $2.99/bottle. I personally like their Chardonnay which is good for cooking as well; their Pinot Grigio blend is less dry but a good drinking wine; if you like trees reds, stick with the Cabernet the Merlot is weak.

Went there last Sunday and bought wraps. Opened them up the next day to use for black bean burritos and they had mold on them. I looked at the date and they were past their sell by date. Surprisingly though, only by a couple of days and the mold was all over. Not worth my time or money to go to the store just to get moldy food.

If you cant find it anywhere, try Whole Foods Market. Not a place for a budget conscious shopper, but there are some deals that are worth the trip. Top quality stop. Butcher, fish, cheese, bakery, sushi, fresh gelato, brick oven pizza and the list continues.

Great store with very pleasant employees. Produce is always fresh. Meats are great, fish is the best . I travel from Manchester NJ to shop. Would love to have a Whole Foods store closer to me.

I usually like Whole Foods selection. The prices are ridiculous. This location is a realtor even for me. There are definitely better more spacious and well-stocked stores than this.

What more can you say? Fresh produce, fresh food, healthy ingredients. Some items are overpriced, but their 365 brand is fantastic and we dont get the quality ANYWHERE else!

I like this store a lot - great original selections.....but, the prices are a bit out of the loop. Average super market tab: $25.00 Same or similar at Whole Foods: $38:00

Needs more selections. This one has less than the other stores granted its size is smaller but still does not have as much organic produce as one would hope.

Great selection of groceries, plentiful options for organic as well. Your normal groceries (i.e Cheerios) will be more expensive than lets say Shop Rite.
