Horrible place to shop and horrid place to work. Everything is overpriced and the selection of products avaible is smaller compared to Stop&Shop and Shop Rite. Theres no convience with this particular grogery store so theres no reason for the overpriced products. The parking lot is insane. There is always someone speeding through the cross walk, trying to run you over. Its a hazard and dangerious. I also worked here in the kitchen department. The manager over the assistant manager was the worse boss Ive ever worked for. His name is Miguel and hes a sexist, degrading, disrepectful, arrogant, 5ft man with a temper and no real skills to manage anything at all. He hates females and degraded me everytime he had the chance to. Disrespected me, talked down to me and when I tried to stand up for myself he threatend me with my job position and spoke to me like I was uncaple of doing anything. Because he was spanish he let the employees that were spanish get away with murder. One of them has a drinking issue and came to work late every day. When he showed he was drunk or hung over. He only watched out for his people and didnt do anything for anyone else. He Inpropperly wrote people up for redigulious things like smiling and laughing. Never complimented you, and couldnt take anyone telling him off, and telling him they werent taking his crap. He was princess who who has no power at all. One important thing I learned here is no one has your back the way you will. As for Miguel, hes a narsasisic, sexist, piece of disposible trash, who has no regards for the lives of anyone else but himself. He thinks he has power over everyone he encounters but hes bottom feeder, he cant stand being told how he is, the truth, and when he dealt it by someone else, trying to tear them down is the only way he deal with it. Hes a no body. Hell be stuck where he is, jealious of everyone else success and that is to me, knowing that, is the best torture someone like him will be living with every moment of their life.

I would give a negative 5 star review if I could. I will never shop there again after years of giving them my business. It wasnt because of the baby mice we found running around in their meat section... it was because of the most rudely inconsiderate "manager" ( I put it in quotes because he doesnt lead by example and knows nothing about being a manager). I have a 3.5lb Havapoo wrapped up in a bag on my arms. Mind you, Ive seen people with animals in here before. I could understand if I had a large 90lb dog running around. Absolutely. But not a contained 3.5lb maybe 24 inch puppy. I walk in and go to grab a basket. He turns around and condescendingly asks me "Is that a service dog?". Really? Great way to treat your customers and be a role model to your employees. So I replied jokingly and said "No! Just emotional support". He proceeds to tell me "I cant allow that dog to be in her and he cant be outside so... figure that out..." and he walked away. I happen to be an Operations Manager For a billion dollar company in retail. Heres retail/customer service 101... Perception is reality. No matter what you say or how you say it, however your customer hears it will be THEIR reality. Whether you didnt mean to come across the way you did to me is irrelevant... because of your shallow narrow minded comments & amateur customer service skills, I will never shop there again. A message for your corporate department... Constant coaching & developing of your managers is invaluable. If youre asking yourself "How much will it cost us to develop our people & they go somewhere else?" The question to that should be "How much will it cost to NOT develop our people & keep them here?" Please address this issue. You will lose more business because of this man. I dont know his name. Hes bald, tall, skinny. Today he happens to be wearing a yellow shirt & khakis. I wonder what his perception of what happened this morning will be if you ask him...

For the most part they have most everything I need, prices on meat are very high unless theres a special, so you need to live off the specials, staff are helpful, produce is usually good, giving them 4 stars bc theres nothing I can criticize them on except for the prices which are a little high......now that the A&P is closed up the street they are the only game in town (w/in10 miles)

Prices were fairly high with a limited selection and the customer service was atrocious. While waiting in line to check out the cashier turned her light off to indicate she was leaving, then looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. On the way out the same cashier almost hits me in the crosswalk! Safe to say I will be sticking with Shoprite.

This is my least favorite foodtown store. I rarely shop at foodtown anymore anyway. This store is not very clean, has a limited selection & has high prices on low quality products. I even worked at this specific foodtown when I was younger & lets just say the employees are not the nicest. I choose shop rite over foodtown anyday.

Shopping at Super Foodtown in the Atlantic Highlands is a great experience. The staff is friendly, especially the guys in the meat department; they make a customer feel important. They always have time to answer questions and they easily transition to the fish dept if their help is needed. I love the staff!

Always a pleasure to shop there. Their deli counter is top notch and its what keeps me coming back....I only wish they had a few of my staple items that force me to go to shop rite e.g. light style hot dog rolls and English muffins, halotop ice cream, half sour refrigerated pickles etc otherwise 5 stars.

I ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for the first time and would do again in a heart beat. Food was delicious, price was perfect and the service was great. The department handling went over and above and I am spreading the word as most people would never think of going there for a prepared holiday meal.
