I have been a Customer at Price CHOPPER since Jan. 1989....I have always enjoyed shopping at the Newburgh store...Mid Valley.Today June 22 2016 I am especially satisfied with the service and catered food items I received. I ordered from 3 departments in the store...deli, bakery and produce to have a smogesboard of good food available for my grandsons promotion to H.S. After driving 4 morning hours from Delaware I was worried about picking up my order as scheduled.. Well, ALL 3 ITEMS were ready and prepared the way I asked AND DELIVERED to me quickly with a smile. I no longer LIVE in Newburgh so I did not know my way around the store as usual, but I saw a few Old faces. Kudos to Price CHOPPER Newburgh. You have done a fine job of being a clean, well lighted, well supplied Supermarket for so many years. Thank you again and thanks to Dolores who helped me take out the special orders to my car. Why cook when you have PRICE CHOPPER putting it down everyday?!!!!.

The most of the people are very friendly and helpful but there were a few who just ignore you when you try to talk to them. For instance, there was a vehicle parked next to me with their interior lights on. When I went in the store it was late at night and I told the cashier who just ignored me and turned his back to me. I wish I would have got his name he really doesnt deserve to work with people. It would have took him two seconds to acknowledge me.

This store is terrible with a good selection of healthy food. They also have the prices well above market value and honestly believe this is because Price Chopper knows there is guaranteed income from people who rely on government assistance. There are a few people here that do an excellent job and have great customer service, but the majority are a bit short in this field.

Surprisingly good. I expected it to be like most of the other stores in this area...but even I, someone on a plant based diet, could find something! And if even a filthy hippie like myself could find something in the sticks, almost anyone can.
