I was a loyal shopper at Stop and Shop and was so sad seeing it close. I came to check out Tops. I noticed at the cash register that I paid way more than I normally do even after the cashier used the tops card. But since I had a toddler and an infant with me, I just let it go. After getting home I looked at the recent closely and noticed that I was overcharged by about $20 - 25. Some of the sales they ran hadnt applied and they charged me $5 for each bell pepper instead of for the pound like the sign stated. I decided to go back trying to get my money back and it was a huge mistake. I spent like an hour in the store trying to get my money back, even snapping pictures of the signs myself to proof to the customer service. The lady from the produce argued with me that the sign was wrong and the organic rather small bell peppers are indeed $5 each. Good luck selling them! They didnt reimburse me for everything because some of the sales they werent running anymore, I didnt bring cabbage to prove that I was charged triple because they had thought it was cauliflower, etc. And in the final receipt, I was reimbursed for one item, then charged for it again which made no sense. But by then my kids were loosing it and I just wanted to leave the store and never go back ever again unless something changes.

Dont take advise from people that put periods, and commas on every sentence to make it look like they know grammar. This place has improved a lot since it re opened as Tops. Yes at first it was terrible, but it has improved a ton.

I have noticed that the store is not as clean as when it was Stop & Shop and also the produce is not fresh. On two occasions I have purchased berries only to get home a find they were moldy.

I rarely shopped at the Stop and Shop stores because they were terribly expensive. I went there only for sales but I am very pleased with the store now. I plan to shop there more often!

Nice and clean store. Massively overpriced compared to stop n shop. When at times acme is cheaper, thats saying something. They priced their store based on the demographic of the area.

I miss stop and shop. The prices here are more and the selection is less. The only upside was they were 24/7 but they changed that and are now closing at midnight.
