Absolutely freezing in there and it was 73 degrees out at 6:30pm in April. There were people shivering in every aisle. Its its overkill with having organic" everything it would be nice to have the space dedicated to a larger variety of fruits and vegetables then to have one of everything organic and non-organic is that just a polite way of saying heres a healthy apple and heres one that we grew covered in poison. It was overwhelming even in the milk section and they had all these flyers with milk on sale I just wanted to get a half a gallon of milk I almost grabbed it wrong 3 times because there was so much organic milk and then and there was organic almond milk there was like three doors milk and almond milk I just wanted milk for my cereal then when I got to the cereal all the cereal that was on sale was all filled with sugar the most expensive cereal for $5 is Cheerios and that actually okay its the first finger food for babies. The place has aisles and aisles of gluten free organic food when I just wanted to get bananas strawberries milk in a box of cereal. I did want to get yogurt for the fruit and the milk so I can make a shake in the morning but out of the 70 different brands that they carry I was all filled with sugar and crap they dont sell the kind that I like so I have to go to Walmart tomorrow and get the healthy nonfat Greek yogurt.. I now remember why I dont go to Wegmans its overpriced end they have too much unnecessary products.

I used to live near Whole Food Grocery stores. Since Ive moved, there isnt one close by. When I found Wegmans, I was so happy. They have organic foods, organic cleaning products, high quality vegetables, great prices when they run their weekly discounts, and quite an impressive ethnic food section, e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Mexican. There are more ethnic foods, but these I use the most. They also have a bulk, dry goods section which I think could be expanded more to include flour and baking products, but it does have a good selection of organic nuts, Im happy to say. They have an impressive kitchen equipment section that one would not expect to see in a grocery store. They also have a nicely filled section on the standard beauty lines/products. I always have product questions and employees are almost always helpful and friendly. In the natural, organic section, you can tell that the employees love and know their products well. Even the guys who have to organize the carts are helpful and pleasant. Ive never had to stand for a long time in a checkout line. They seem to have gotten the queuing and staffing algorithm right. I am always happy to shop there -- its a great atmosphere.

For a second time I used Wegmans to cater a large party. Without a doubt, they are the most talented and professional crew one could want. Aimee in Catering helped me select a perfect menu and her colleague Chrissy put in special effort to find an unavailable item. They were a delight to work with. And the Cake!!! Elaine used her skills to help us find a suitable design which cake decorator Courtney used to create a masterpiece. And believe me, I ate a master piece of that georgous cake and it was delicious. People were loving the food and the cake and I loved the ease of dealing with Aimee, Chrissy, Elaine and Courtney. So my advice is, if you are having a party, make it easy on yourself, call Wegmans, stop worrying, and enjoy your event.

This place will try to sell you the name brand items for more than what other places are selling them for. And the Wegmans brand tastes just awful, especially their meats (beef, pork, chicken, sausage links, etc.) The chicken spoils super fast, even before the buy before date has passed and even in the refrigerator. Stay with stop and shop or use the new wal-mart on 66. Better food and values for sure. Also, the take out bar is way overpriced, they charged over $8 for 1 lbs of food off their wokery bar. Compared to sultan wok, the price and food are a joke.

Best grocerystore of all time. The Wegmans brand items are truely amazing in quality, taste, value, and price. The staff is by far the most helpful Ive ever seen. Ive never seen a casheir as helpful and personable as Michael W in my entire life and carrer in writing critiques and reveiws. Everything and everyone sets the bar high and continues to reach up and over it to ensure that every customer finds exactly what they need and leaves with a smile and some money left in their pockets.

WE HAD LOBSTER ON THE MENU TONIGHT! A packed refrigerator full of 4 pack lobster tails yet the store manager didnt make any effort to open the refrigerator that required a key. She down right refused to make any attempt! Jennifer I think was her name. Whos ever name begins with a J has no customer service skills. Our crew very disappointed tonight...Bah Humbug Wegmans.

Has a fantastic selection, especially for those who are vegetarian or vegan. For the most part, products are moderately priced, if not better than some other stores. The only downside I can think of is the layout can be a little confusing for finding certain items if youre not already used to the product placement. It is split into organic/nonorganic sections.

Great Staff, everyone Ive interacted with is very friendly, knowledgeable and Helpful. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that Ive had some issues with their produce going bad exceptionally quick or grabbing produce that are already moldy (things like raspberries or strawberries where it can be hard to spot without really looking)

Never enough help. Always a line. Not enough cashiers. Great store but you can never run in for a few items. No self check out lanes!!! Express lanes are never enforced. I understand that they dont want to be mean to a customer. But it prevents the working moms from shopping. I go to shop rite 2 or 3 times a week. Spending $40 at a time

The fresh sushi is great, the overall range of products is very good and it is, to a German, a very nice shopping ambience. PS: it was also very exciting to witness a power outage just two weeks after Sandy, when some snow piled up on the roof and all of a sudden the power went out. Anyone else who was there with me at that time?

I agree with other posters; you have to know your prices. Produce is consistently priced higher than all other area stores, as are meat & fish. I buy paper items here; those prices are in line with local stores. Parmesan cheese, tofu, yogurt, all affordable at Wegmans. Avoid floral, kitchen, and cards..... to much $.

Somewhere between the unreachability of Fairway and the pricey preciousness of Whole Foods, Wegmans hits the sweet spot: not the cheapest stop youll make in the mall, but possibly the best combo of selection, freshness, and value. And an in-store kitchen, bakery and a-la carte dining that are hard to resist.

Started shopping there when they came to NJ...still the best quality for the best prices, and with families, special diet ary needs, etc. consistantly available. Their staff are consistantly pleasant and helpful,..I make the 20mi round trip because its worth it in terms of quality, variety and cost.
