Don’t shop here. This was my experience. I saw a 2015 Focus listed for $7800 online. I called this dealership to confirm the price and they told me it was right. I called again to set up a time to see the car, and asked to make sure that the price I was seeing was not a finance-only price (where they only give the low price if you take out a loan) since I was planning to pay cash. They told me it was not a finance-only price on the phone, and that the car would be available to look at the next day. I paid over $100 for a rental car and drove four hours to buy this car at the price I saw online. I came twenty minutes late since I live far away and called early to make sure this was okay, and they said it was. When I got there, the guy told me it was a finance-only price and the cash price would be higher. First lie. I looked into financing to see if I could take out a loan and just pay it off right away. He asked about my credit score, I said it was good, and he told me that since I use creditkarma to check my score, my real score would be “100 points lower” than what I thought. While he was running my information for a loan, he repeatedly tried to get me to buy a different car than I came for. He suggested a Nissan, then a Ford Escape, then a Dodge, then a pickup truck even though I repeatedly told him I was only interested in the Focus. As he was running my info, he told me someone else was looking at the Focus and that it had been sold, even though they said the car would be available for me to see. Second lie. I drove another four hours back home, and paid $8 to check my official Equifax credit score. It was EXACTLY the same credit score as creditkarma had said, not 100 points lower like this place told me. Third lie. Here are my suggestions: 1. Don’t shop at car dealerships. 2. If you must go to a dealership, don’t go to this particular one. 3. If you must go to this dealership, get a decent bank to give you a quote on a car loan. If you finance with these guys, they will charge more than advertised, try to get you into a pricier car, and then lie about your credit score to give you a high interest loan. PS - I highly suspect most of these reviews are fake. Notice the similarities in all the reviews (they regularly mention how great the customer service was, how highly theyd recommend it, mention staff by name, and give very few details)

TERRIBLE. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. **warning: if Price Wise Is Reading This They Might Not Want To Respond Because I Will Be Contacting the BBB and then the Local news if I receive any type of negative response. I went into this place to purchase a luxury car. As soon I walked up a young man wearing a pink tshirt approached me. I walked past him in order to go inside the trailer office. He asked "How can I help?" in a very aggressive and demanding way. As a buyer, his approach was a huge turnoff and I continued walking. He quickly attempted to step in front of me and my mother and almost touched my mother. We continued to ignore him by walking by his physical attempt, which only made him more angry. He then got in front of us again said "DONT EVEN THINK YOU GONNA TALK TO ONE OF MY ASSOCIATES BEFORE YOU TALK TO ME!!NOW GO INSIDE, SITDOWN AND I WILL DEAL WITH YOU IN A MOMENT!! He said all of this with his hands aggressively and angrily pointing to the desk he was commanding us to sit at. Now he was clearly high on something because the last time I checked car salesman do not traditionally speak to potential buyers like that. We responded "who do you think you are talking too?" and before he could respond his fellow associates got involved, he walked away throwing hands in the air like a 12 year child. He stormed off in a tantrum and someone needed to pep talk him in a corner to calm him down. Never in my life have I experienced something like that. They are no words to describe how disrespectful the culture is at this business. When a business has a sales pitch that includes being physically intimidating and/or threatening then it deserves to be addressed. Price Wise Auto has an issue with communication and hope they figure out how to hire salesmen that can maintain respect. I did nothing to elicit the response I received and highly recommend staying away from this place. No potential buyer should feel threatened upon entry or throughout the car buying experience.

The minute I laid my eyes on this place I was like....what is this it looks like a shack. I was greeted by a guy (whos name I do not remember) and asked me what car I was looking for. I said A grey Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 with 50000 miles. The salesman looks at me like Im crazy or something and says...um.. ok come inside well take a look. I went inside sat down at his desk and he immediately asked me how are you paying cash or finance ,in which i responded, I dont know yet. I havent even looked at the car yet and he asked me that 4 times within the 10-15 minutes I was there. I asked him if I can test drive the car and he surprisingly told me I can only do that during the process of purchasing... Who does that?! The customer has to test drive the car first before he or she even thinks about buying the vehicle. During a test drive you have the feel of the car how it was taking car of and seeing if everything works from the navigation system to the sunroof and so on. We finally go take a look at the car and i turn it on and the engine just sounded poorly maintained and unhealthy. after taking a look for 5 minutes. He then asked me what I would rate this car and without hesitation said 6. He then shockingly said Why? I answered saying the engine doesnt sound healthy at all and thats major deduction and also it has over 50k miles it shouldnt sound that like. The fact that he said I could not test drive the car and the engine not sounding like it should sounds an alarm in my head that this salesman is not honest, and rude. And Im sorry I cannot take this place seriously the fact that it looks like a shack its small and just looks like a dump. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Went here to shop for an used car (used Bimmer 330xi). Although I had a problem financing the car I wanted, I had an amazing experience at this dealership. And trust me, I have been to about 10 dealerships in NJ/NY area for the last 4 weeks. I was helped by Steve Perelman, one of the sales rep. He may have a strong impression at first, but when it came to business, he was sincerely willing to help me find a car I want, (rather than just to sell any car to me.) Entire team at this dealership was very communicative, honest and courteous, and also they were clear and straight-forward when it came to pricing. Because of my budget, I had to go with a cheaper car at another dealership, but the cars they had were very well-maintained, in very good conditions, and reasonably priced. A lot of used-car dealerships advertise about cars they say they have (even when you check on the phone before your visit), only to find out they dont have them, or they have different price tags, but it didnt seem to be the case here. I strongly recommend this place (and Steve) to anyone who is shopping for a reasonably-priced, premium-brand car.
