Auto Advantage is arguably the worst dealership Ive ever had the displeasure of working with. I wanted to buy a truck and searched for months looking for the perfect one. Finally, I saw one that I loved at Auto Advantage. I went to visit and met Angelo. At first, everything is great. Angelo is very helpful and not pushy at all. He tells me to take my time with the truck and if I like it, we can try to make a deal. Long story short, a few hours into purchasing the truck it starts to sound like a diesel (truck is a v8). Angelo told me and my family he would have it covered no problem, hed take care of everything. He told me to drive it around until it hit 1,000 miles so the warranty company would cover it (even though it shouldnt be a warranty issue, its a dealership issue). When I called the warranty company to file a claim, I told the TRUTH and said that it had started a few hours after I left the dealership. Thus, the warranty didnt cover the issue because they deemed it pre-existing. Angelo and his brother Pete wanted me to LIE to the company and tell them we made a mistake so they would cover it. After much back and forth Pete and Angelo FINALLY agreed to fix the truck IF WE TOOK THE REVIEWS DETAILING OUR EXPERIENCE OFF THE WEBSITE (they wanted us to take the reviews down FIRST before they fixed anything, but we said no) but refused to give out any information about who is fixing it or when. Pete told me the truck wouldnt be fixed by a mechanic shop but rather a personal friend. I called Pete again to tell him that I wasnt comfortable sending my truck to get fixed without knowing who was fixing it or what was being fixed because of how many times I had been lied to already, and Pete told me to go basically go f**k myself and he wasnt fixing anything and then hung up on me. Honestly... do not waste your time with this dealership. Not only do they lie to you and give you the runaround, theyre extremely shady. They will tell you one thing and tell your spouse or friend or whoever something completely different. Pete will try to intimidate you and make you seem stupid; Angelo is no better and places all the blame on Pete. They both will tell you "Pete said this" or "Angelo said this." Save your money, your breath, and your time and go somewhere else. Auto Advantages website says the company prides itself on customer service, but this is obviously not the case. If you come to this dealership, youve been warned. Dont trust them.

One of the WORST dealerships weve had the "pleasure" of dealing with! Angelo.....nothing but a grimey salesman and the best of liars that I have ever met. Truck only took a few hours before it started sounding like a diesel (which it wasnt). Said hed have it repaired at no cost but to drive it for another week until we hit 1000 miles so the warranty company could pick up the repair cost, but this is NOT a warranty problem, its a dealer problem and they didnt want to pick up the cost. Wanted us to call the warranty company and tell them the problem started a week later so theyd cover it. Im going to report them to the warranty company as well. Pete, the owner, was no better! When I refused to call and lie to the warranty company, he called them and did it himself and told me that if I wanted to call them and tell them that it was the same day that it was purchased it would be on me if the 3 yr warranty, that we paid EXTRA for, wouldnt cover the repair. They refuse to resolve this problem and an honest, hard working college student is the one who is paying the price for their underhanded tactics. Apparently, the problem with the truck is a well known issue that is costly to repair and THEY KNEW ALL ABOUT IT!! If you are looking for a worry free and well running vehicle DO NOT go to this dealer as all of their glib words and promises to make good on things are nothing but empty words designed to empty out your pockets and fill theirs. Their website says that their establishment is dedicated to customer satisfaction, but they have proved that this is not the case. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and STAY AWAY from this place unless youre looking for a good dishonest experience :)

Dealer Response: We are very disappointed to have such a displeased customer. With more than 40 years in business and thousands of sales behind us, this is a first. We purchase the finest used truck inventory for our customers. We pay for a thorough inspection of each vehicle before it is purchased to make certain it is a quality product. As a goodwill gesture, we offered to help this customer repair his truck at a licensed repair facility, even though he purchased it As Is. Unfortunately, our customer is refusing this help. Our customers family is now involved and threatening to put us out of busines with bad reviews and picketing our facility. 3 of the negative reviews are from the same family. It might be easier if they just allow us to perform the repair. They would not allow this to happen in a business-like manner, but rather argue and slander. The reviews they have posted are filled with half-truths and outright lies. We felt it necessary to post a rebuttal to their false claims. Some people you just cant help.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS Angelo scammed me when it came to buying a truck from here, he lied and stated that the cams were replaced on my 04 f150 5.4L (known Problem with this truck) and now that the cams have shifted the whole timing system is ruined and this is costing me $1500 out of pocket. When I called to see which cam was replaced two months later he said they didnt do any mechanical work to the truck. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! He also stated that in a few more months I could trade the truck in for something newer, why would I want to do that when the one I have doesnt even run.. I had to sit in the cold waiting on the tow truck with my 9 month old ( no one to get me since I just moved here.) Nothing but scam artist please do not buy from here!!!

I want to thank Pete Laquitara and his staff for helping my family and I find a solution to fit our lifestyle. When I went to Pete I explained what type of vehicle I wanted, safety features, snow friendly, bells and whistles, etc. Basically I wanted everything in one vehicle. Pete and his staff could not do enough to help my family and I, they bent over backwards to ensure my family and I were ecstatic. We are so pleased and grateful we decided to go to Auto Advantage. When it is time to purchase another vehicle I will be reaching out to Pete and his team. Knowing the team at Auto Advantage truly care about my family and I, as well as their professionalism truly makes the experience phenomenal! Thank you!

of the grimiest of the bunch, go elsewhere cause this supposedly family run business doesnt pride itself on repeat customers or referrals. After having a problem when the car was driven for half an hour was told "well take care of it or get you into something else." Now its more like "Sorry, you have a problem with the car we just sold you? Well trade it in with us and well get you into something else" lol, what a joke these clowns are. If you like getting smoke blown up your a55 these are the guys to see.
