My womans a traitor. We stopped in at the Porsche side of Ray Catenas dealership hoping she would continue our Porsche ownership tradition. Michael Marinelli was the consultant recommended to us by Mike Liptak in Ray Catenas Porsche Parts Department, and thats who we came to see. The moment we walked through that door, the Porsche receptionist asked how she could help while offering us a beverage of our choice; impeccable. While Michael was out at that moment, we were greeted by Eugene Tsukanov who promised to take care of us while we waited for Michael. Eugene gave us a crash course on the models we were interested in, showed and started a few of the cars as requested. My pulse quickened at the prospect of bringing one home, but my woman lusted the F-Type...off we went to see Alan Burnside by recommendation. Reception on the Jaguar side was equally immaculate. Janet, the receptionist, offered us beverages, perhaps a test ride in a beautiful English accent; treated as if we were royalty. Then Alan Burnside appeared. This man was like a long lost favorite Uncle; warm, genuine, debonair...an American 007. He showed us a few F-Types, a couple of XKs, talked to us at length about what we were looking for and answered LOTS of questions with unflappable patience. We learned a lot which helped in making a decision much easier. At no point did we feel ANY pressure or insincerity; this was EXACTLY the experience we were looking for — Alan was a gentleman of a forgotten time. He invited us over to his office, we sat, talked numbers, cars, options, and the like while casually interjecting a few off topic subjects. This man became a member of our family that afternoon. It took two more days of meeting with Alan; we were still undecided about committing to an F-Type and had yet to test drive one not because we werent offered, but because we werent ready — again, no pressure from Alan to get us in a test drive. He spent hours with us despite the fact that we couldve walked away at any time...no questions. The third day, Alan, patient as always, asked if wed like to take one out for a test drive...we did, Rio Wisbert was our guide, and the decision was made on the spot. Alan took us to the storage facility to see a few F-Types she was interested in, and she chose one. We went back to his office, Alan educated us on the leasing process since its been two decades that weve leased, and got the paperwork in order. A day later, the deal was done, the car was prepped, and we were ready to go. Alan delivered the car as if he was the owner of the dealership; tremendous pride was taken in every step of the process. We were so very impressed by Alan; from day one we were treated with not only the kind of respect reserved for heads of state but also as if we were family. He introduced us to his son and General Manger, Jonathan Burnsides, who clearly picked up on the long last art of gentlemanly behavior from his father...class act. This WAS a family run business; about as "mom and pop" as you can get and we yearn for this kind of feeling in any situation involving a purchase. Ray Catenas enterprise is ENORMOUS, and still, the service was as if this was his sole dealer with only a handful of employees. What an experience. Alan and Jonathon...we cannot thank you both enough for what was THE best experience weve ever had in making a purchase of ANY kind, you made us feel fantastic. You have our business for the rest of our lives — and we mean that. This is how to run a business and treat people...you guys nailed it. Put the kettle on, were spending our week at Rays.

From the moment I stepped into the dealership I had a good experience. I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the front entrance and she said she would get someone to help me out. I went in with interest in a Jaguar XE. There was an XE in the showroom and Alan Banjany came over while I was looking at it. I had already been to several other dealerships in the region over a couple months to get a good feel for the car and I must say the overall assistance and willingness to help really shined at Ray Catena Jaguar in Edison. After a few questions Alan said he would bring around a 20T Diesel for me to test drive since that was the model I was showing interest in. It was fairly late in the evening and they were about an hour from closing but I never felt rushed or pressured. We completed the test drive and sat down and discussed the available cars and my needs. Since I wasnt able to see the car that I ended up being most interested in since it was in a different lot he asked if I could come back the next day and he would have it here. It was ready when I arrived. The whole sales team including Dan(DM) were very helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with the whole process. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Jaguar to add this location to your list of places to car shop.

I have recently graduated in the past year and was fortunate enough to land a great job, so I decided to lease myself a car being that I am a huge fan of driving. As I was shopping around for the vehicle I wanted I quickly was getting discouraged from many of the dealerships, Open Road, Bell, and Jack Daniels, all treated me as a child who was "window shopping" instead of the young professional I hold myself to be. My father being a loyal Ray Catena Mercedes customer suggested I take a look at Ray Catena Porsche. The minute I walked in I was greeted, asked if I wished for a beverage and asked if I needed assistance. They did not pressure me to any particular car but gave me all the facts on each and answered all my questions. Once I decided which car I wanted I sat down with the rep (Chris Violante) who was extremely knowledgeable about the cars and he worked out the best deal for me. This was my first car, being a Porsche,and my first full time job, it was a challenge to Chris and the guys at Ray Catena to get me approved, but they got it done and I could not be any more grateful. The biggest thing that drew me to Ray Catena was not one rep treated me any different than if an older individual came in, they are courteous and I could not suggest a better dealership to use.

It was an absolute pleasure working with this dealership on the purchase of my new car. I visited a couple dealerships prior to visiting this dealership and I ended up buying my car from this dealership because of my sales professional. Not only was he extremely knowledgable about the car and the features, he listened, didnt judge me and was willing to work with me. He took me on a test drive that was over an hour to ensure he answered all of my questions, showed me every piece of the car and showed me the servicing shop introducing me to the servicing managers. Even after I took ownership of the vehicle I had a slight issue and my sales professional stepped in and got everything resolved and in a timely manner. I wasnt just a number but I was a client/friend. If youre in the market for a new Jaguar dont waste your time with the other dealerships and just visit Ray Catena and speak to James Mull.
