I was very disappointed with the poor service we received today. We hardly go out for treats because of our sons food allergies but thought a hot chocolate would be okay since citispot uses Hersheys syrup which is safe for our son and the younger staff there had been amazing in the past. I requested that the milk be warmed in the microwave as they use almond milk on the frothers. The young man behind the counter understood and was willing to be accommodating. however the owner, even after being informed of my sons allergy, tried to pressure the young man to use the frothers anyway, because he did not want the inconvenience of having to watch the milk in the microwave so that it would not boil over. Thank god i was observing or this could have ended badly for us. I tried to explain that it needs not be very hot as it was for a four year old and he would just be happy that he was getting a treat out and that the frothers could not be used as that would be dangerous. The owner then told me in a very rude manner he would do it only this time but to never ask again. He may as well have told us to never come back because if we cannot make that request then we certainly cannot come back as it would be unsafe. I just want to say shame on you for not being able to take an extra minute out of your day to make an innocent little child happy. We will never be back in your establishment again and hope that in the future you take peoples request seriously as you could hurt someone! This was certainly the worst customer service I have ever had in our wonderful small town.

The best part about this coffee shop is "location, location, location." You can sit outside and listen to the waterfall in Clinton while you sip fresh coffee. I know that the coffee is fresh because I can hear the barista grinding the beans whenever I order. So sip is the word because this is the freshest coffee you can get. The only turnoff is when you go to use the bathroom. It is unappealing to use a rest room in a place that serves food and drink, with this much clientele, that has dirty walls with the paint peeling. Paint the dingy-looking rest room and the review will be 5 star.

I typically give this place 5 stars. I would drive an hour just to get a latte and one of their chocolate cookies. Back a few years ago, they had a guy who was an awesome Batista. I think he is a scientist or something now. On my last few visits the drinks just havent been as good, and it seems like the magical cookies have either changed, or they dont make them as often. The last cookie I bought got thrown out, and I never throw out cookies. I hope they can fix whatever is going on.

This is a great place to just sit down, drink a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever youre into. Me and my friends went here, sat down and met this amazing guy. This place is a great "restraunt" if you will. Its quiet and peaceful. This is a great place to stop buy and get something to eat or drink. They have great prices too. This is probably my favorite place in Clinton, NJ.

Great place on a very quaint street. I was looking for someplace to grab a light snack and some free wifi, and this place was perfect. Im a tea drinker, and they have a wide variety of teas I got a yogurt to eat. It has a cozy, comfortable area to sit and talk or work on a computer. Big windows give a nice view of the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have always had a good experience at CitiSpot. They have a great selection of delicious coffee, tea, and smoothies. In addition to outside tables (located near the river), it has a cozy and warm seating area inside. This coffee shop has unique character, it is not "manufactured" by the big corporation. Not only is the owner very accommodating, he is a nice guy.

This should be the busiest coffee shop around due to its great location. Unfortunately the coffee is terrible. Its practically tea considering how watered down it is. They cant seem to keep an employee, and are always training new kids. If you are looking for REAL coffee, go down the street to Black River Roasters or across the street to Riverside

Ah... The good old days. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. In fact, its the first coffee shop I ever frequented. Prior to Starbucks being ubiquitous in my life. The owner is friendly and my memories of Citispots matcha green tea have stayed with me, even though those memories are mostly based on the taste of sugar. Good coffee, too!

Diana Mint & Matcha Green are must-try delights! Owner Mark always has a great smile & great service for us. Comfy environment for hanging out & free wifi for working/studying. Bonus outside seating in quaint-funky (quainky?!) downtown Clinton, on the corner across the river, old mill, & museum.

Espresso is bad because they hire young baristas who dont know what theyre doing. Everything else is fine except the prices. So if youre dazzled by lofty interiors and "hip" atmospheres, by all means, go here. But if you want better coffee, go to the coffee shop across the street by the water.

The Coffee is outstanding and the views are gorgeous! Located in the heart of Clinton next to the Musconetcong River, Clinton Bridge and Hunterdon Art Museum it is a great place to visit. Very comfortable inside and the staff is always a pleasure to deal with.

Great place to sit and hang out after a long day of school. Does have free WiFi, which is great for a little bit of Netflix with your coffee. Only have had one bad drink there out of the many times I have gone.

Nice starbucksy atmosphere. Unique to find a place. That does fancy tea drinks in addition to fancy coffee drinks. Diana Mint is a long time favorite of mine. They offer dairy free milks as well.

Love this place! Its a tiny bit pricey, but any good hole in the wall cafe is. Staff is always friendly and the place is always clean. Great place to relax and have a cup of coffee!

I have to say that the folks working at Citispot are always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is delicious, and you cant beat the convenient location. Its a terrific local spot!!

The Barista was super friendly and helpful, and she recommended a half-sweet iced white mocha latte. I think its my new favorite drink, and it was ready in two minutes!
