They say hassle free returns but only if you have the receipt. My item was clearly from home depot and defective with a year warranty. I went in first to explain i had a compressor with bad wiring so I wouldnt have to lug it in if they were going to give me trouble returning it. She checked and called the manager over and told me to get the unit. They couldnt find the item with my credit card either. Which I really think they slightly change items every 6 months so they can change the item numbers so people who dont keep receipts forever cant return things. Worst part was the manager who came over was short with me to get back to chit chattin with the rigid sales rep. Moral of the story is go to Lowes.

you go to the store you wait a long time and still dont find someone to help you. you call a certain department and no one is there to answer your call. finally you get the front desk and they pull up to see how many of what you need and they say out of stock. they wont go physically go to if indeed are out.i went there and there it what i needed was there.

Went to the store to purchase a new door handle and deadbolt. Needed 2 extra keys and the sales person only cut one of them which of course I found out when I tried to use the key. Hate traveling an hour to the store and back again to redo what I just did.

This is not as good as a small hardware store but Im not going to dock it stars for that. They have a large selection, and customer service does a decent job here. It is definitely one of the better Home Depot stores that I have been to.

I recently took on a fixer upper in Somersworth. I found several people at the store to help me with plumbing, electrical and roofing. Had a great experience with the store. Definately will be there again.

The selection is minimal and staff does not usually offer help. Its fine for something quick instead of driving 20 minutes to a Lowes
