Went to pick up some items today, I noticed that the mulch was on sale (Scotts) 4 for $10.00, on a big sign. I asked the employee if it was on sale " she said the sale may have ended on 6/1/14, however if the sign is still up you can get it for that price. I go to the cashier and it comes up 3 for $10.00. I say but the sign says 4 for $10.00. The cashier calls her Mgr on the phone and tells her that their is no one working out back and there is no sign saying 4 for $10.00 . The Mgr basically is calling me a liar ! I walk back to make sure the sign is still there, which it is. I go back to the cashier and she gives it to me for the price on the sign, great. What I didnt like about the Mgr response was: A) Being called a liar, what happened to "the customer is always right" ? B) The Mgr could have had the common decency to send some one down and check the price. C) The Mgr could have gotten off his/hers fat ass and checked it out for themselves! I spend a lot of money at H.D. God you think I going to lie about pricing

Run off YET AGAIN for poor customer service, this time I wont be back for a while until they make more changes, specifically in the lumber department. I have talked with management before about this and called corporate, small changes, but not enough to keep me coming back. The customer should come first, but not in this store. Ive been dealing with Home Depot for almost 30 years they should take a better look at how other Home Depot stores are run. From customer service to inventory accuracy to sheer messiness and disorganization, this place takes the cake as one of the worst Ive seen. Sorry guys, cant say I havent tried Ive talked to you over and over, just cant do it any more...

The only reason why I shop here is convenience and location to my home. I have been a regular for the past year while doing many different home improvements. No service whatsoever, you always have to find someone, and when you ask youd think your interrupting them and receive attitude. I actually like Home Depot, but hate this store. I could provide a dozen specific experiences, its that bad. If you have another option stay a away from Salem.

Poor service I was at the key machine waiting to get a copy of my key and I asked the people here to page someone to help but I had to wait 20 min for help UNACCEPTABLE! I had to ask twice for them to page someone to help me. This is not how a store is run if the people that work here think this is how a store is run then think again.

Home Depot carries thousands of quality products for builders, remodel projects and repairs. The only issue I have with this merchant is that when a non-contractor like myself enters, I can get lost in the aisles among the forest of items. There never is a staff member near to answer questions or offer directions within the store.

Came to shop for a new storm door, was looking for assistance. A person in that department was busy with a customer. I came back in 15 minutes. He stated that he is the only one today and is busy, In response to my inquiry for how long he said about 1/2 hour. So, my visit was a total waste of time.

I need a chaperone when I come to the store because I end up buying everything in sight!!! I can go there for a Can of spray paint and end up with an entire paint kid and paint removal kit and the next thing you know, Im now building shelves and painting my porch and everything else!!! I love HD

Worst customer experience every-time (and I live within a mile away, I unfortunately have to go there often), dont even bother calling, they dont even let you breath to give you the wrong answer, its mediocrity at its best. I hate to give them a negative review, but they deserve nothing more.

Worst Home Depot Ive been in. Waited at pro desk for 25 plus minutes. They see fit to let the employees take breaks or lunch right at noon time when most contractors go for materials. Left 1 guy at desk 2 ladies picking orders instead of doing check out.

Returns: Cashier was new so its not his fault. Head cashier couldnt help. Last hope/manager Geno Fusco seemed too busy to help and quickly stepped away after making a wise crack. One word: Incompetent. Go to another location if you can.
