A while back I was in the process of getting ripped off by a different cell phone repair shop that was trying to tell me I was responsible when my phone quit working shortly after they repaired it. I brought it in to Wireless Toyz for a second opinion and their repair guy, who appears to have moved on to greener pastures, confirmed that my phone had been the victim of a botched repair job. The manager, who is still there, didnt charge me because, "Youve already been screwed over enough. You should demand a new phone." That gets these guys the one star. Fast forward to present day. I have a new phone and it has stopped charging. Because of my past experience with these guys I drove all the way across town hoping they could fix it. I had moved since the previous encounter. I explained to the guy that the phone has stopped charging. I had tried a new battery, multiple chargers, and that had not fixed the issue. He goes back and pretends to tinker with the phone while Im waiting in the lobby. He comes back out 20 minutes later and tells me it is something with the board and he will need to open it up to fix it. I leave my info. The next morning I call them up and they tell me he is still working on it. Later I call and they say it is ready. I drive clear across town to pick it up and pay the $50 repair fee. I even ask the guy if I need a new battery and he said no. The phone is about 30% when I get home so I put it on the charger. I go about my business and come back after a while and the phone says 28%. I call them up and tell them the phone is still not charging. They put the repair guy on the phone and he tells me, "I just replaced your battery. It must be your charger. It charged here. Bring your charger to the shop." Note: He just told me they charged me $50 to replace the battery. They didnt do any actual work on the phone. I drive clear across town for a third time with the multiple chargers I had tried to charge with. He puts my phone on his supposedly magical charger and, of course, it doesnt charge. I explain again that, though the charging icon appears on the screen, it is not actually charging. I could actually see the little light bulb go off over his head when he realized he screwed up At this point the manager and the repair guy go to the back room and there is a bunch of whispering. Eventually they send a third guy out who quietly apologizes and partially refunds my money. I ask and, now that they realize what the real issue is with the phone, they know that they cant fix it. Something they could have determined the first time I was in. I guess I still had to pay for their time they spent trying to pull one over on me. To heck with the time wasted on my part when they didnt realize from the get go that they couldnt fix it and, instead, tried to trick me into thinking they actually did something.

AWFUL! THEY PLAIN OUT LIE TO YOU I have been with T-Mobile for years but lost my sim card, I went in to the store to get a new T-Mobile SIM. They told me they didnt have a T-Mobile SIM card (first lie), and that I should join SIMPLE Mobile instead as it had a better plan and cheaper than T-Mobile (2nd lie). She said I would get 1GB 4G data, then unlimited 3G data for the remainder of the 30 days, for $30 (third lie; you get throttled to 5kb/s which is not even 2G speeds, when T-Mobile offers 5GB 4G for $30 online)... she then charged me $48 which she said was for the sim card and her to activate the plan!!!!! After I used my 1GB of data, I phoned up simple mobile directly, who said this girl must have plain out lied to me, and indeed on their website Simple mobile says speeds are cut to 2G (EDGE) speeds. I phoned up wirelessToyz, spoke to the manager and he basically said what do you want me to do about it... I have phoned WirelessToyz headquarters, and still no reply.. SCAM STORE!!! JUST GO DIRECT TO T-MOBILE or ANY carrier store you want, dont use this SCAM of a company!!

Horrible! Avoid at all cost! My phones screen got busted so I took it here for a replacement, they told me it would be done in 2 weeks but when I went back they told me theyd ordered the wrong screen and broken the plastic frame trying to install said wrong screen. I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to replace that frame and get the correct screen. I went back after those 2 weeks and the guy told me he couldnt figure out how to connect the new screen and that hed lost the volume button. We gave him one more week to get it right but in the end he disappointed us again. Not only did he not get the volume button, but he lost my SIM card and didnt connect the rear facing camera which I cant use anymore thanks to him. On the bright side I got my expensive screen for only $40, which was the deposit we left them the day we handed over the phone, and even that seems like a rip off. Dont give them your money! Go somewhere else! They dont deserve your business!

I just came today to return a battery charger I no longer needed because I got a new phone. When I walk in and told him what I wanted, he tells me about in store credit. Thats not what I wanted and not what the Wireless Toyz on Pecos and Trop told me. Then he goes and says why dont you take it up there with them then? How rude is that?! I work in retail and if I said that to a customer, I would be fired! I even call another place and they told me the same thing. So Im stuck with a charger I dont need anymore. Never go to any Wireless Toyz!!

I will forever avoid this location! The staff is less informed than i was and they where very rude. BEWARE OF RANDY he provided the worst treatment i have ever gotten from any retail location i have ever visited. The manager Jeff seems to not care either i would say stay away from here. Drive a mile down to their location on pecos for real service. I will warn anyone considering this place!!! ZERO STARS oh and they all reek of pot!!

these guys suck. avoid at all costs. sent a phone for repair on 16th of december for a broken screen. fast forward jan 28, they broke 2 additional parts and cant get the phone to work. they never called me for status updates. staff is extremely rude. stay away.

Dont go here they dont explain there policy on returning a phone your not happy with. Then the lady said I have unlimited data, she lied to me.
