I went in looking for a scooter that went 45 miles per hour, they showed me one called a tao tao scooter. I bought it for 1100 but when I road it I realized I wasnt going miles pr hour. I looked closely at the spedometer and it said km. I called up and asked if I could return it, they said, not after youve driven it. Within a few days of driving while on my way to work the engine stalled and it started leaking gas. I took it back and they did some adjusting in front of me and got it going again, reminded me to bring it in for a tune up when it reached 300 miles, although it records km. they told me not to drive it fast. I Hadnt been riding it fast! I had been babying it! I brought it in to get its first oil change and tune up and I told them about sounds it was making. they said that was normal for a bike that was being broke in. They charged me 65 for the tune up.The bike continued to die on me each day, but I continued to get it started again each time so I kept riding thinking about the few months of riding that it would take till I had made up my loss in gass savings. When the bike was at 1600 km it died and wouldnt stay running no matter what I did. I took it in and they told me that the problem came from running it too fast when it wasnt tuned up. they told me that I was supposed to come in at 1000 mi. for a tune up. they asked me how much I had on it. I told them 1600 km. He told me no its miles. He then took me out and pointed to my spedometer and said you see youre supposed to come in already. To make a long story short he ended up charging me 140 for repairs and 65 for another tuneup. I rode it real slow trying to do an even better job of babying it, and its a week later and its broken again.

I ADDED MORE BELOW. PLEASE READ! Worst service ever. I would never buy another scooter here. I kept telling him it wont start. He says it needs a tune up. It is six months old. The horn doesnt work, the odometer and speedometer dont work. I tell him it wont start again, he says bring it in. I ask him how. He has a guy who will bring it in for $40... It has been doing this since I bought it. It has a three month warranty... I have been telling him since the beginning. I only give him one star because it is making me do so. He does NOT stand behind his bikes!!! 6/17/17 The scooter NEVER worked right. I kept telling him from like the second week I had it. It had days where it just wouldnt start. He said all it needs is a tune up, which he did as his mechanic was not available. It never fixed the problem. Then I end up pushing it over 2 miles to my house in the heat. Then he wants to charge me $40 to tow it to his shop and $75 more to fix it? Why should I think he can fix it this time, when he couldnt fix it before. So I called around and had it towed for $29 and repaired for $55 and now it runs and starts just fine. I will never go there again. I wish I would have read the other posts here before I went. Many are just like mine and others are obvious fakes.

The way I feel this guy is just out to get your money he doesnt really want to service you he wants you to leave the property there and come back and get it in a day or two on his mechanics not doing anything at all the first time I took my bike there to get it tune up he charged me $65 the second to know if he charged me $75 I didnt go back for the third.. the next time I went to his store just to have an oil change done I go and pick up my bike and I noticed that parts of the body were crack and broken the guy that he has posing as his mechanic I feel like must not have proper document to work here in the United States he cant even come out and speak to anyone. Its very obvious that hes being paid under the table. And to top it all off I bought and paid by credit card 800 some dollars and he couldnt even sign the title so I go back 3 months later once I realized that when its time to register it and he doesnt want to give me a signature because hes too busy trying to figure out something on his computer so I said his office for 45 minutes waiting on his signature I mean I sat right in front of him thats just how youre supposed to take care of your customers that if they got think I should change my 3 stars to 2 Stars

I needed to get my scooter repaired and I called up Best Buy Scooters. Having done business with them before for a tune up, I trusted they would diagnose the problem. I arranged for pick-up and the serviceman was on time. I was called about an hour later and was told the carburetor was shot. I authorized them to fix it and they said it would be ready by 2pm. It was. They took the time to fix it quickly, even adjusting the idle since it was a bit low. My scooter performs 10x better than when I bought it a year ago. I whole-heartedly recommend Best Buy Scooter. Their new facility on Spencer is clean, spacious and far better than where they were on Eastern. I will most definitely will be doing business with them again.

Overpriced scooters. Was told I was paying 1,600.00 for a 49cc roketta scooter and my dumbass believed them and bought it thinking I was getting a good deal. But after inspecting the title I realised it was a jonway scooter and not a roketta. I overpaid by 700.00 dollars. After only 100km it was stalling and in had to tow it. They charge 75.00 for a tuneup and all they do is change the spark plug and motor oil. Thats over charging by 50.00 . usually most places clear your air filters and change hear and motor oil , chAnge spark plug and check tire pressure and brakes. learn from my mistakes and do your research before going hear unless you dont mind being taken advantage of and getting ripped off.

I love how they posted their own review and in the photos section they include a few pictures of scooters - then theres a picture of a bicycle. This illustrates what youll end up riding most if you buy a scooter from these guys. Customer service here is very poor. My buddy posted a review about a tire he tried to exchange here and the shop commented it was a fake review. I can truly say it is not because I remember him dealing with this situation. I was sold a different spark plug then the one I asked for and this was not good. It could have ruined my engine had I not noticed I was given the wrong part. Steer clear.

bought a scooter on 4-27-12 now its 5/10/12 and the carb is leaking gas into the airfilter causing it to stall. I took it to the dealer and he would not fix it unless i paid him $65 for a tune up when i can just buy the new carb online for $40. When i bought it he said it had a 6month warranty but he was like ur warranty wont work unless u pay me $65 for a tune up. I figured paying 1k on a chinese scooter would mean i could take it and get it fixed for free since u can buy them for cheaper elsewhere. Luckily u can order parts online and fix it yourself. Dont expect any help fixing it from the dealer here.
