Completely incompetent service department!!! Ive been riding since 1974 and Ive owned 2 BMWs. I took my 2013 R12RT in to Euro Cycle Las Vegas (formerly BMW motorcycles of Las Vegas) to buy parts to tune up my bike. I bought spark plugs, an air filter, and an oil filter. They recorded my VIN and said, "Here are the parts for your bike." They told me there were two engine options for 2013 for an RT, a air/oil cooled and a water/cooled. They noted that mine was the air/oil cooled and sold me the parts. Obviously a pretty easy thing to determine. I returned home and installed the plugs. The bike would start after that, but ran incredibly rough. I reinstalled the original plugs that came with my bike and it still ran just as rough. Prior to installing the plugs, it ran flawlessly. I was just doing routine preventative maintenance. I pulled the original plugs back out and compared them with the new plugs I bought from Euro Cycle. The ones they sold me were a quarter inch longer! OK, big trouble now. I called the service manager, Miller and explained the problem. He said there were 2 engine options for an RT in 2013. He said they gave me the wrong parts and would exchange the parts for the correct ones. I called BMW and found out that the 2013 RT model, in fact, only came with one engine option, the air/oil cooled like mine. The GS had a water cooled in 2013 and they gave me the parts that went on a GS. Miller said that I could bring the bike into him and he would do a diagnostic test on it, and of course charge me full price for the diagnostic test. What an idiot! He sold me the wrong parts, admitted that they were the wrong parts, I trusted them enough to install them, and now I have a $23,000 bike that wont run. And Miller at Euro Cycle Las Vegas will accept no responsibility for selling me the wrong parts and he doesnt posses sufficient industry knowledge to know the accurate parts for a specific model year. Absolutely the worst customer experience ever! It should be assumed that a Service Manager knows enough about his product that he can help his customers obtain accurate information and accurate parts. And when he makes a mistake, he should man up and make it right. Avoid this place and go somewhere where they know what theyre doing!

Took my bike in for a valve adjust. time in and out was fine. The guy who signed me in, like other BMW blow hards, did not impress. I mentioned the mechanic I used in the past. In my area regarded as the best in the business. Not a BMW mechanic but works on every kind of motorcycle. They referred to him as a Shade Tree mechanic. Really? That Shade Tree mechanic, so called, used the same valve cover seals the first 100,000 miles with never a leak between adjustments. Of course it leaks pretty good after these folks worked on it. I had new seals with the bike if they thought they needed them. Remember when making disparraging remarks about others, there is always the internet. Just because you ride, or work on BMW, doesnt make you better. Park your pride, fake some humillity if nescessary. This is not the first or worst offence by BMW mechanics. The last time BMW mechanics in SLC bragged about being more superior than a Honda mechanic that told me I needed a new clutch. They didnt install a clutch. I definitly needed a clutch. I was with my Shade Tree mechanic when it was replaced. It was slipping from oil from a road that was being sealed at the time I rode it. If you live up to your own preview, you will get a better review.

Very disappointed with the customer service in the service dept. My wife and I rode in to get a throttle issue resolved. As soon as we walked in it was as if we were invisible, not a "hello" "can we help you" Nothing. After feeling as if I was interrupting them the one guy told me that reservations were priority and travelers would be seen when they get to it. They did get to it soon though. After waiting in the show room and then back to the service dept office for quite a bit dealing with where we were gonna stay and make a plan, we were told there was a waiting room upstairs. What! Why werent we told that a long time ago. Any way picked up the bike the next day loaded it back up and went to check out. "here is your receipt" Thats it .. Not a sorry for your inconvenience , not a bye, not a safe trip. NOTHING. We got to Vegas Strip for a pass thru and the throttle went back to its problem. I told my wife Id rather deal with it than go back to that shop. Ill find another dealership somewhere else on our trip.

I had a pair of Rallye pants sent to me from a shop on the east coast. They didnt fit. I wanted to exchange them for a larger size here locally in order to have them for a trip this thanksgiving, instead of mailing them back to the east coast and waiting three weeks for that shop to get the new pair to me. Las Vegas BMW would not exchange them even though all tags were on and in the original box...citing they were an independent dealer and didnt do that. I called Long Beach BMW and they said they would do it no problem and put two sizes on hold for me until I can make it down. Although I can make it to Vegas in 1.5 hours, I will drive the 3.5 to do all business with Long Beach. Customer service goes a long way. Vegas would have made a killing off me with scheduled services, tires, merch, etc if they had treated me right.

Outstanding customer service and mechanical service. All of the staff are all professional, knowledgeable, honest, and a lot of fun! Tom, Miller, Kayla and Sea Bass all make buying a bike or stopping in for service or coffee a lot of fun. We bought an F800GS here and I also get my R1200GSA serviced here. Its one of the few BMW shops where they make you feel welcome and are genuinely interested in you as a rider and as a friend. They know that if you feel comfortable stopping in to say Hi and have a coffee or soda, you inevitably buy something! Why cant other dealers (Esp BMW) figure this out and just make you feel welcome and like you want to stop in and just say Hi??? When I go to replace my beloved 07 GSA, I will be going here, no question about it. I couldnt offer a better recommendation or review than that!

I will give BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas 5 stars if this place fire the skinny white guy at the parts department. Very rude to me and my dad when we stopped by for some parts on Saturday. But dont give me wrong, I love this place everyone besides him is so nice and helpful. I want to give a big thanks to Steve and Eric and also everybody in the show floor. I dont get it why BMW Las Vegas would hire someone rude like this. Because of his attitude my dad doesnt want to give his business to BMW of Las Vegas anymore. We turned to spend almost $3000 on accessories for his GSA online from a dealership at Utah. Now I can tell how one bad person can ruin a good business.
