Wish there was a way to give it negative stars but I will settle for one. I first visited Red Rock HD about a week before my first Laughlin River Run for a oil change. Couple days later I rode to Boulder City an noticed the bike wasnt running so great. Checked the oil when I got home and it was way up on the stick. At least a quart overfull. That was bad experience #1. About a year later, Feb 2012, to be exact, I had a nail in my tire so I took it to them to have it changed out. Took 3 days but I didnt complain since I wasnt riding much during winter. Fast forward to July this year. Im going to work, everything running great. Stop for a light and when I take off, yeah, you guessed it, another flat. So back to Red Rock it goes for another tire replacement. Four hours later I get a call saying they had good news and bad news. Bad news was MY cost was going to be more than expected because the rear brake caliper and bracket was cross threaded. I quickly informed them that THEY were the last one to mount the brakes and bracket so it would be on them. After awhile on hold they agreed to the original estimate for the tire replacement only. They kept the bike another 3 days during which time it bothered me that I had been riding for two years with defective brakes due to their negligence! Also during that 3 days I had reason to wonder how that tire went flat so quick. They said it had a split which is possible but this was more like a blow out it was so quick. Friend at work said he bet it was a valve stem which made perfect sense. So I go to pick up my bike and voice my dis-satisfaction with all that happened with the bake caliper and the service manager said "well, he probably didnt know he had cross threaded it". DUH! Im no mechanic but you know when you cross thread a bolt. To which he said " Not really, sometimes you dont, anyway we made it good so no harm done". I decided to just leave rather than get into the qualifications of his mechanics. So I took my bike, new tire and all, home. On the way home bike handled rather badly. Not terrible, mind you, just badly. Next morning I decided to go ride so I did my usual pre-ride check. Sure enough rear tire pressure was around 46 psi. Also I noticed it had a new valve stem which was not noted in the work order. Sorry, this review was rather long but i wanted to spare any fellow rider the experience I had.

I stopped into Red Rock Harley Davidson for two reasons. One was to check the place out and the second was because my bike is idling high and I wanted to get it checked out. I pulled into service and I met Mike. This was about noon on Christmas Eve. I told him about the idle issue and then he did a walk around of my bike and noticed that the back tire was pretty worn out which it was so I told him to replace that if he had the time. This was pretty cool I was totally out on the road and had an issue and they got me right into the dealership. If I did that at home I would have had to wait a few days for them to even look at it. I ended up hanging out at the dealership from 12pm to 3pm. I thoroughly looked at all the stuff they had for sale which is fun and is always a time killer and then I went and grabbed some lunch and checked out the pawn shop in the same parking lot. At about 1:30 I got a call from Bernie at the dealership and he told me that the rear brake pads were also running pretty low. I told him to go ahead and fix those while the back tire was off. At about 2:30 my bike was done and they couldnt duplicate the problem that I was having with the idle but I did prevent a future problem with the rear pads and rear tire. I was blown away by the quick turnaround and I am glad I got that stuff handled. Now all I need is an oil change in about 1000 miles and I will be ready for another big long ride:) I want to thank Bernie and Mike for the awesome customer service. This could have easily been an unpleasant experience and they made sure that I got back to California safely for Christmas Eve.

... Id recommend going there. Ive not yet been to Henderson HD, but Ill be giving them a try before going back to either Red Rock Harley or Las Vegas Harley (theyre owned by the same people.) The salespeople act like youre bothering them if you are interested in a purchase, the parts people are not knowledgeable about a single thing they sell (but are overly ambitious on trying to get a sale from you, as apparently they work on commission... something Ive never seen before for a parts department), and the service people dont seem to be capable of working on a lawn mower (much less a $20k motorcycle.) Both dealerships also tend to overload the bikes they sell with accessories, then refuse to sell a bike without them. For those of us who dont like paying for things we dont need or want, and plan on customizing our bikes our own way, this is beyond annoying. On top of the fact that they are still selling bikes for well over MSRP (as if this were still 10 years ago, when Harley Davidsons were hard to get, and the economy wasnt crashing.) There arent a whole lot of Harley dealerships across the country that Im really thrilled with (I can count maybe two that havent actively annoyed me). But this one is especially disappointing. I cant recommend buying anything here, and if I were riding cross country, and my engine fell apart in their parking lot... Id call around to some of the independent shops and push my bike before talking with service. Just my two cents.

Eileen helped me pick out the right Winter gloves for me. She was very helpful and is very knowledgeable. There are so many choices out there, that it is overwhelming. I told her what style I preferred and from there it was easy to decide. “Mike Harris was my salesman when I test road and bought my Softail Slim. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and went out of his way to ensure that I was happy with my purchase. When I visit the store and see him, he greets me like Im one of his best friends or family, always making me feel welcome. Even though I receive text messages and emails alerting me to special events, bikini bike wash, Christmas party, etc., Mike always contacts me to invite me personally. This is above and beyond, and impressive. Not only do I recommend Mike to a potential customer, I recommend everybody else I have dealt with at Red Rock Harley in the parts department, accessories and service. Everybody is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They all go out of their way to help. I met somebody that was visiting his mother in Vegas. He rode his Harley from VA and brought it in for service at RR Harley. He told me how impressed he was with the service department. Red Rock Harley definitely ROCKS! Thank you. ”
