Since my husband recently purchased a home we are refurbishing, Ive rediscovered Westlake Ace Hardware. I used to visit it all the time when I was in college, because the staff was so friendly and helpful, and they seemed to have a little of EVERYTHING! Im delighted those things havent changed one bit. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They always greet me when I come in, and the variety and pricing is surprising for a store its size. If youre like me, you want to do business with a hardware store that actually trains its employees so they know what theyre talking about.

I love this place. The staff are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help you find what you need. The prices are higher than average, but its worth it - most of time - for the convenience. The selection of screws, nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc. is the best in town. There are two reasons I wont give 5 stars. 1) They only carry one or two of some items, and that low inventory often forces me to a big box store, and 2) in my opinion, the company doesnt compensate its employees very well, especially considering those higher than average prices.

This place is completely overpriced!!! From everything including paint, hardware, to flowers. I feel like I get ripped off just by walking in the store. If you want a more affordable hardware store I would either hit up one of the big box stores or go to Nixa Hardware.. Much better prices.

The customer service at this store is fantastic! To the point of almost unbelievable. The selection is second to none for hardware. Thanks to Justin and Holly for going above and beyond by actually answering a phone call before the 9am opening hour! 5 star review!!!

Great prices, great location, great helpful staff. Not to mention cheapest key cutting in all of Springfield. If you need lawn and garden supplies, basic home improvement supplies, and hardware, this is the place for you.
