Disc Golf Monkey is the "go to" guy in Springfield and surrounding areas for all things Disc Golf related. He doesnt hesitate to offer help and insight if you want it and will go out of his way to make sure youre happy. He doesnt just sell disc golf items, he plays, lives, and breathes it. He puts a tournament series together every year that is far more organized and player pack friendly than anyone else around that Ive seen. Ive been dealing with him for 3+ years now and hes always treated me right, gave me helpful advice that has improved my game and he has even delivered merchandise to me before on his own time and dime. Great guy and company. A+

Pay no attention to the negative posts of January 13,2012...obviously the result of character assassination by immature and disgruntled "competitors. Russ (aka Disc Golf Monkey) is one of the friendliest and most helpful men that I have met in my six years living in Missouri. He does not hesitate to give advice on technique, disc choices, or any other matter pertaining to the disc golf world. In fact, last time I was at his shop, he politely excused himself to drive to the bus stop to pick up a new and prospective customer he had never met! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Disc Golf Monkey to satisfy your every disc golf need!

A home town Disc golf hero. Incredible knowledge of the sport and a huge selection of thing you know you want and things you never knew existed. Competitive pricing is great but getting the answers you need for each and every driver, putter, bag or accessory is worth way more! Just give him a call and he will meet at his shop. I have read some of the negative comments that have me scratching my head. Russ is a nice and accommodating man and I have never seen anything to lead me to believe any of the petty and spiteful things I have read on these reviews.

Disc Golf Monkey is extremely professional and has an almost unlimited knowledge of all things disc golf. He helped me get a disc golf directory for Christmas and it was a very smooth transaction. He made sure the product was top notch and made sure I was happy with it. He is a great resource for products, tournaments, and/or anything disc golf related. I highly recommend him to everyone!!

I have been buying disc golf stuff from the monkey for a while now and have played in a great many tournaments he has run. I have yet to find a more fair, friendly, and/or professional person/business to deal with. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for quality disc golf gear and tournaments.

I am not a fan of stores that are located inside a residence. There is a very small sign in this guys front yard. Not sure if the store was located in his living room or garage. There was no clear evidence where a person was supposed to enter. They need a professional store front.
