We needed a racking system for my wifes Corolla to fit both of our kayaks on for an upcoming camping trip. After looking around, I found the style I wanted at a decent price. Rack Attack was very competitive and it showed online they were having a 10% discount on Yakima - whoot! After arriving in-store and talking with an employee, he recommended the same/similar equipment what I had investigated and was very honest! Upon checking out I noticed the in-store price discount didnt match their stores online price discount. However, the employee said that it was a website error and honored their lower online pricing. I was SUPER happy! Plus, going in-store to talk with an employee makes a purchase like this feel much better. Honesty, the customer service won us both over! Now Ive installed it all on my car, but the baseclips for the rear towers arent long enough to fit properly. Im going to head in today to see if they can exchange the feet or something (which Im sure they will) to make it fit how it should. If they pull through like I think they will, Ill update this post and give them 5 stars. **Update 10/1/2016** I went into the store (a week after I purchased them, but I just got around to updating my post now) to speak with them about the baseclips. After showing the gentleman what I was referring to and took it off/on, he said that it was normal for the rear ones to be very, very, VERY tight fitting. Im still afraid Ill scratch my car one of these times, but they do work amazingly well when attached. So well go ahead and give them 5-stars since there wasnt any replacement baseclips to be had anyway (which is a manufacturer issue, not Rack Attack).

These guys are AWESOME! I cant thank Joe and Rick enough for their help! They stuck to their price match policy listed on the web, and they gave me excellent, helpful advice on installing a fixed roof Yakima control tower system on my 2002 Saturn SL2. I couldnt afford to fork out the $$$ to pay to have it installed, but these guys gave me excellent advice on the install anyways, and after having to call back a few times and bring my car in to make sure that I was doing it the right way, they patiently took the time to make sure they helped me all that they could! In hind sight...it would have been worth the $$$ to have these guys do the install, but when it was all said and done, I was able to pull it off myself, but not without the fantastic service from Rack Attack! When it comes to ANY roof rack parts or accessories, or installs, these guys should be first on your list! Top notch business!

Typical BS sales tactics and waste of my time. Called pricing on tow hitch and wiring harness. High price, shopped somewhere else for the hitch and harness and got a lower price. The install fees on the quote to get the wiring harness installed was between $30-$45. I called to have them just do the wiring harness install, gave detailed description of the vehicle model/year, and the wiring harness type BEFORE GOING IN. They say sure, bring it in and well take a look at it - again, I give detailed description of the harness so I dont waste my time. I bring it in and they have to look it up. Then they say $100. Typical bait and switch. If you go there, get your price quotes in writing. Crappy hack sales tactics. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. Anyone can bolt on parts, Ill go to where they research it, give a price and stand behind it.

I had been looking all over for the base system roof rack for my Ford F150 truck without luck. I needed one rack to work with the pre-existing rack on my truck cap for carrying a canoe. After going to at least a dozen different places over a month of searching and getting nowhere at all, we were in Minneapolis and I took a chance and called them. What a difference the RIGHT place makes. Not only did they have the ability to sell me only one rack (no one else could get around the pairs issue), they gave me three options on how best to do so I could find one best for me, and they installed it in under 45 minutes. And all this at a price well below anything I was quoted anywhere else. Dont waste your time going elsewhere. These guys are the professionals you need! Thank you!

I just got an awesome Yakima Skybox Carbonite 16 cargo pod for my Subaru STI sedan. I was helped by Nathan and was in and out in about 15 minutes. Nathan put the cargo pod on my car and gave me some quick instruction on how to use it which was very helpful. I had a great experience and will recommend this place to anyone looking for any type of rack system. They have a great, clean show floor to show case their products, some cool go pro videos showing and a comfy couch to sit and rest a weary soul. I was worried that the cargo pod would be noisy on the road but it doesnt create any wind noise when combined with the Thule Aero blades. I am all set to head up north with 4 passengers and our ski and snowboard gear. Stoked! Thanks Rack Attack Minneapolis!!!

Today, Feb. 24, 2016, Wilson installed a Thule rack on my 2015 Honda Accord, with Yakima roller system, for my Hobie Outback. He was great. These guys know this stuff cold and are super professional. Wilson walked me through the whole deal before he would let me leave. My car looks like it came from the factory with it attached. Well, not quite, but it looks great. No wind noise at all. Very impressed. Plus, I was in and out in less than an hour. That includes the shopping, choosing and paying parts, too. So efficient. Why cant the rest of the world work this way? Expensive? Just under $1,000, so yes, expensive. Worth every penny.

Sales staff were extremely helpful. I own a tiny Chevrolet Volt and they were able to quickly (as in 30 seconds) help me find a trunk-mounted bike rack. They also checked the manufacturer notes to find special mounting hardware required for my vehicle. On top of that he took the time to show me how to mount the rack at no additional charge. Additionally their selection simply cannot be matched by any other authorized dealers in the area (REIs selection is microscopic in comparison. Penn Cycle is even worse inventory-wise). I will definitely go back when I find myself needing any new mounting gear.

I went to Rack Attack for the product selection. The sales staff were very knowledgeable and helped me select the roof rack and cargo bin that best suits my needs. They priced matched a competitors Thule 20% discount. I also purchased a Kuat NV add-on, which they increased the MORC discount from 15% to 20%. I installed the rack in the back parking lot and when I was running late they helped me finish the install. I had originally thought of purchasing online, but am supremely happy that I went through Rack Attack. Thanks Guys!

I walked in and was going to buy an extension for my rack as well as the locks from Yakima. The locks were 60/pair and I needed 4; I told the guy I would have to pass on them but he gave me a cheap and quick way to make my rack harder to steal. No awkward up selling or pressure. Now, even though I dont NEED the locks I will be buying them from Rack Attack when I do. Staff here are helpful, courteous, and friendly. I would not hesitate to purchase from here in the future or send my friends their way.
