This place its world famous for being a 2/3rd scale replica of our sister City of fountains, Seville, Spain! High end shopping, banks, movie theatre, some of the best 5 star restaurants in the mid west are here. There was a problem with underage kids fighting here but, thats long since been resolved and prevented with the addition of off duty, kcpd sergeants, on duty patrol and private area security! I love it down there!

The Plaza is one of the best places in Kansas City for shopping, dinner, a romantic gondola ride, walking or having a drink with friends. Its safe, clean, beautiful and there are dozens of choices from casual to upscale and everything in between. At Thanksgiving they do an amazing light show with music and vendors. There is an annual art fair, coffee, ice cream, Apple Store and even Tesla!

A true gem hidden just outside of downtown Kansas City. The Plaza is packed full of high-end retailers, fancy eateries and some excellent bars. The Plaza is also home to several KC businesses including Lockton and Beauty Brands. Keep an eye out for special events that take place throughout the year including the KC Marathon and the Plaza art festival.

One of the most charming areas of Kansas City not only for what it contains but for the proximity to 90% of the other things to see in the city. The Plaza, as it is locally known and called, is more niche and upper crust but it is populated by all inhabitants of the city. It is vibrant, colorful, noisy, cultured, and easily a favorite of any denizen.

Perfect place for dates, families, day outtings, and/or quiet shopping trips alone. All around beautiful place with a European atmosphere. Food is available in a wide variety, mostly expensive but around lunch time you can find some fabulous bargains. Check out ms grill, wonderful reasonably priced for location. Enjoy the best of KC right here!!

Lots o shopping, lots of dining options. The Christmas lights are a bit over rated, once you have seen them there isnt really a reason to make a special trip to see them again. Still a great place to go with so many options. Parking can be tricky unless you are familiar with the area; go slow and be on the lookout for the parking garages.

Great place to shop! A mix of high end stores and some budget friendly stores as well. Amazing restaurants some of the best food in KC is on the Plaza! Just like the clothing stores, the Plaza has a mix of restaurants: some more fancy and higher priced and also some more casual and family-friendly spots with lower priced entrees.

My service dog and I came to KC for the eclipse, and we want to thank everyone for making us feel so welcome. We visited the Plaza later in the afternoon, its a beautiful place to relax (and dont worry, she didnt leave anything behind!) There are lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance, too.

A lot to do. Plan your day by checking out the area using the map online. It helps to know where you want to go. I enjoyed the live music in the courtyards. When it is hot and sun is bright it can become too hot to enjoy the outside. I did not see shady areas to sit or covered sidewalks.

Walked into this place by accident in early summer heat and was welcomed to sit and relax or help myself to coffee and water. Theyre right next to the Tesla store. They have great staff who answered questions we had about the city and googled what they didnt already know. I was impressed.

If you want to avoid White people who act like theyve never seen black people before stay away from here. Not to mention they follow you around the shops like crazy its super uncomfortable. The weekends are alot more diverse but also flooded with teenagers. Basicly a lose, lose situation.

This used to be a wonderful place to shop locally owned stores and eat at unique restaurants. Today, you will only find big chains and overpriced touristy stuff with the sole exception of the chocalatier on 47th St. No need to go out of your way to go to the Plaza in KC anymore.

Its the pride of Kansas City. It was even mentioned in the Netflix show "Ozark". Beautiful architecture. I enjoy walking around here. Shops are generally empty which makes me wonder how they are doing. There are beautiful fountains all around this place. Parking is free!

Good window shopping, interesting people watching, good employment opportunities, everything from hotels, retail, food, spa,or office work. Shops can range from high end to affordable, and food options go from dress code,to sleeveless shirts and blue jeans just fine.

Delightful shopping and entertainment district with fountains and Mediterranean architecture. There are a variety of local and national restaurants and retail stores. A great destination for young and old, families, and adults looking for a great date night.

Really nice shopping area, mostly high-end shops. Restaurants are all big corporate chains though. We enjoyed eating in Westport, which is much more to our liking. Walking along Brush Creek was very enjoyable. Could use some more maintenance though.

The best times to visit the plaza are before 10 pm. Most shops close at 9 pm. Great restaurants and shops. Go for the restaurants on the perimeter of the plaza like on Ward Pkwy or towards Roanoke. Quieter and service is much more personable.

I like it down here and cant complain at all. Always busy on the weekends, just part of the plaza. Same place with killer shopping just not cheap but why should they be, best place in town to live and shop far as the true inner city goes

Despite critiques of selling out or rowdy kids or whatever, The Plaza is still something Kansas City should be proud of. A great shopping area, a nice place to walk, cool architecture, and a growing number of Kansas City original shops.

We had a great visit. Walking, shopping, eating - great atmosphere, flowers, bikes, river view, hotels. Stop in at the customer service plaza- pick up the passport of savings, and they were so pleasant and helpful.

The sights can be amazing, the people are mostly polite (there are always the few that are snobs) and youve got some amazing shopping. There is plenty of restaurants to chose from, but come early. It can get busy!

Needed to go to the bookstore otherwise this wouldnt be worth my effort. This is definitely for people who like to shop, show off money, and dine at places that are overpriced and youre paying for the chain brand.

The Country Club Plaza was the first Shopping Center in the United States in the nineteen twenties. Outstanding collection of stores shops and boutiques. One of the best dining areas in the Kansas City area.
