Very different thats for sure. Not very friendly to people from out of town, which fyi, is not great for increasing business since the only way to increase small town business is for people from out of town to visit. The stores that offer fragrent items, such as candles, should consider the saying, "less is more". Especially on holidays. Sometimes the perfumes from the candle store are so strong i have an asthma attack just walking past, so how could i stop to buy anything. People usually like it more subtle rather than overpowering. There is, however, one good thing i can say about them. For the more popular stores they have, such as zummiez, they have an excellent selection of items. Stuff you dont see in the same store in big cities, stuff usually only on the websites. Really, thats the only reason we visit when we come to town to see family. Maybe just try to remember to leave your personal opinions about people at home. When you work in sales, your only concern should be for your sales and how you can increase them. Being rude to out of towners isnt really going to work in your favor.

We drove over an hour to visit this mall today and and to our surprise, it was in the process of being renovated :( . Some of the stores had moved and they were in the process of redoing the floors. Victorias Secret was in a tiny shop at the end of the mall while they were working on the bigger store, said coming summer 2016, I believe it is summer already? It smelled odd because they had stripped all the floors and were preparing to redo the floors? Guess we should have researched it before and just went to Tylers mall instead. The major stores like JC Penney or Sears werent really affected, just the other smaller stores.

The Longview mall is improving but I would still say its a bit behind the times. Also there are entirely too many kiosks selling the same thing and god forbid you just want to look at something the people working the kiosk are like sharks. I have actually been verbally attacked by a kiosk worker because I said I was just looking. He actually followed me a few stores asking why would I just be looking his kiosk was there to make money not be looked at. Honestly thats probably the last time I shopped in the mall.

With recent additions to this mall some life has been restored but not all of it. It is still a wounded animal trying to heal. There was a time, years ago, when this was the hub of activity in Longview and that time has passed. There are working to better this mall all the time and have tried to maintain full business and few vacancies. It is not a bad shopping area and serves a need for browsing and options. It has potential and with continued growth they may just pull it off.

Its a mall, it hasnt changed much in 40 years. Shops come and go. But one nice thing One nice thing the attic recently was upfront parking for disabled veterans. Update: 8-27-16 upgrades and remodeling taking place. The food court entry is closed temporarily so you will need to use a different entry point to the Longview Mall. Take this into consideration when parking.

I lost interest in this mall when they got rid of the fountains. Currently, I believe they are trying to revamp their image. Unfortunately for the ghosts of 1988, I think its time it all "goes towards the light", and just let go. Once the city starts developing around the 4th street extension, the area around the mall will become part of South Longview.

I enjoy bringing my babies to the mall because I know its a safe place and security is great enjoy meeting new people and exercising and this is one way to get let my children go about their way and shop for their shoes and some clothes and some miscellaneous items thank you all for being so wonderful during the holidays it is very much appreciated

With the remodeling and all the new stores being put into the mall its great! The curb appeal is looking better and that will hopefully keep attracting great stores. Now if they could just remodel all the other exterior and kick out Sears for something innovative & new, yet consumer oriented.

They appear to be trying to improve. They have brought in some new stores and cleaned it up with a face lift. There are still some seriously ghetto people that think they rule the walkways though. The new Dicks sporting goods attached to the mall is pretty nice!

I know its being improved, thank God!! I live in Longview & rarely shop here. They need way more options for the food court. No mall pizza, which I feel is a staple item!!! They had subway pizza!! Love the new clean & bright arcade located by Sears now.

This almost exclusively an old peoples mall. Literally they have a little pretend police station for the mall cops outside of the Spencers and a stones throw away from the Hot Topic to keep those rowdy hooligan little kid shenanigans to a dull roar. Lol

B. House

There need to be more mom & pop type stores that arent dedicated to jewelry, shoes or hats here. More activity based attractions as well. You see mostly the fairly old or the fairly young here. Not a lot of adults just looking to spend time and money.

Longview mall needs more seating all over the mall. I have seen people literally sitting on the floor as friends of theirs shop. Unacceptable. Or the elderly looking for a place to rest. Everything else is perfect!

I been going here since I was 10 which is 4 years. I love this mall. Shopping is one of my favorites things to do. I love this mall and the bathrooms are always clean and I havent had any problems here. Great mall!

Love the Longview Mall! It has great stores and plenty of things for the kids to do during shopping to keep them happy!! It has plenty of parking and its free! Theres not much u cant find there!

For a small town mall, it gets the job done with the variety of stores. Its catered to a wealthier young demographic, but has affordable options as well.
