Because they dont like blacks. They got this little get drunk club right across the street from Price Chopper where theres nothing but a lot of prejudice white folks that loves to go in there and get drunk. They use up most the parking spaces at Price Chopper you would think the grocery store is over ran. But its not its those drunk motherfukers across the street at that club drinking bar whatever you want to call it. Thats how I feel about it. And a lot of others like me feel the same way. Why would you put a place like that right in front of Price Chopper when there are a lot of children that goes shopping with their parents and families.

Avenues Bistro has amazing food and a great tastable deal. We like to go for Sunday brunch, amazing breakfast and lunch options for $15 and it includes the awesome buffet (eggs, sausage, fresh fruits, charcuterie and cheeses, salads, and top-notch pastries.) The bottomless breakfast cocktails are $10. Thats the best part - but wait - theres more! If you make your reservation online through the tastable bit of their website everything is 50% off! What?! Great buffet for $7.50 and bottomless cocktails for $5! Dont forget to tip on the before discount price! Youre welcome!

Brookside is a wonderful neighborhood, and the Brookside shops are equally wonderful. Everything is within walking distance, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, dessert, jewelry, flowers, or groceries. There are so many options, all within a small, cozy, and friendly setting. Also, its proximity to the Country Club Plaza makes the Brookside Shopping Area a great stop on the way to or from the Plaza. Certainly a must for any visitors to Kansas City!

The Brookside shopping area is home to many unique and interesting small businesses that are very customer friendly. Its a great place to visit and do some minor shopping. There is a good amount of different places to eat, as well as some night life. There is however limited parking depending on the day, however it hasnt been a major problem for myself.

Ive been to a few shops in this area. The main one is Brookside Jewelers. The people at that store are wonderful and very helpful. If theres any piece of jewelry I need tinkering with I take it to Brookside Jewelers. I have also been to the Mr. Goodcents here in the area. Its a well maintained restaurant. Id come back if I was in the area again.

This shopping area has poor highway access, but there are a couple decent grocery stores, a couple restaurants, and some local businesses including a good coffee shop and other speciality shops. Youll pay a little more in this neighborhood, but it is a nice area. Parking can be limited at times.

Brookside is the place to go if like me you want to be out but a Mall is too much. The shops are different the people are nice and there are great places to have lunch. Micheal Forbes was fun. The food was so good and our waiter was perfect. Its a wonderful place to spend a Saturday morning.

Brookside has some great places for brunch such as Avenues Bistro, nice safe bars for drinks, a nice Price Chopper, Mexican dining, outdoor patios and several local owned businesses that take excellent care of you. Its just a few minutes off 71 down 63rd street and worth the drive!

Im never been disappointed in Brookside in Kansas City. Almost everything one could need is available here: grocery stores, a fine florist, casually comfortable restaurants and Worlds Window - a great place to find gifts and unusual clothing and things for your home.

The whole area is beautiful and clean with fairly recent sidewalks. The storefronts are beautiful with easy to read signage. Parking can be a little problematic during events, but overall its a great area to visit.

So many good choices in Brookside. It is authentic city living with lots of dining and service options. Check out The Brooksider for outdoor patio dining. I get my haircut at Brookside Barbers.

Brookside, a romantic neighborhood. A walking neighborhood. Shopping mom and pop style or boutique. Restaurants galore, ice parlors, Farmers market. Lovely place to live or visit.

Nice place. It reminds me of a small town downtown where everyone kinda knows each other. While not a discount shopping and dining place, it is reasonable for its location.

Great area, safe and an option for everyone. Parking can be a pain, traffic is tight and people get frustrated so keep you eyes open for people backing up or pulling out.

Lots of unique shopping, not overtaken by national chains. Go here instead of the Plaza for a truer taste of Kansas City.
