Jordan Creek Mall is probably the best mall in Iowa that Ive ever been to. It is pretty huge, and the lighting and atmosphere is so pleasant, and feels like how a fun mall should feel, especially during Christmastime. I have so many great memories of this mall, and every time I come to this mall, I have a great time. You may have trouble finding a parking spot, so Id recommend going here on the weekdays. But its worth the trouble of finding a spot. This mall is pretty amazing. This mall includes a terrific movie theater, with an arcade, the always delicious Cheesecake Factory, and Cold Stone Creamery, as well as Panera, and a food court with a mix of other delicious and diverse food. There are many good stores that cover your needs of finding awesome items in a diverse mix of almost every category of shopping. The mall smells like a fantastic mix of Abercrombie cologne and food court pizza. I will forever miss all of the good times I have had here, and will always have new memories to update the experience with, and I always look forward to new stores that are coming in, just as some of my favorites leave, such as F. Y. E., which held some of my favorite well priced nerdy items, and entertainment items that were pretty damn cheap, with an awesome staff that was always there. As corny as it sounds, I will always miss that store, and no other F.Y.E will replace that one.

My favorite shopping destination in Greater Des Moines. JCTC is clean, well cared for, and frankly it is aging well. Most shopping areas tend to show age, but the GM, Randy, just wont have it. He and the maintenance and cleaning staff are always on top of everything. I know it seems weird to start out talking about cleanliness, but honestly, it makes me feel safer because then I know they truly care about the consumer. Speaking of which - fantastic selection of stores! I can get a new dress, books, gifts, and dinner by walking the halls. Love it!

The restaurant is a bit hidden and hard to see from the road. The quality and portion size of the food was great! The resturant and restrooms were very clean and well maintained. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of the poor service that we received. The waitress was never around, and she seemed to be angry while interacting with are group. Also when we were trying to locate the waitress, the only other staff member that was out on the dining room floor was the bar tender. (We visited on a wed night around 7pm)

For the love of what ever is holy to you, this is a shopping mall. Lets see shopping mall or dentist for root canal? Im going to the dentist. I use to feel sorry for all the old men sitting on the benches in the mall waiting for their wives. I have now joined the rank of the beaten down old men. Rejoice, soon the new football season will start and I will sit in the truck listening to a game. There is a God! Sorry, I forgot I was writing a review on the mall. Its great (yeah right).

Its generally a nice experience when visiting, but the extreme Westward location makes it a haul for me. With the Outlets of Des Moines bringing retailers that Jordan Creek would kill for, I see its relevance diminishing over the next 5-10 yrs or so. The unique Century Theatre no longer has its draw as Merle Hay has a competitive new theatre/micro-brew & since another Century Theatre now exists in the greater metro, specifically in Altoona.

Its always clean, the bathrooms are very family friendly and easy to use with potty training toddlers, and the food court has some great selections between coldstone, zombie burger and panera. Theres something for everyone but the best deals in the place probably go to Halberstadts, which is a suit store similar to Mens Warehouse, only without the ripoff prices. Ive gotten some quality suits there for an affordable price.

Awesome mall 2 floors of many different great stores. A couple just to mention forever 21, Victoria secret, Hollister, aroecombie,Michael lots, coach, Yonkers, aldo Sheels and many more. There is a cinemax to enjoy a night of movies with family or friends and tons of great food opts from fast food to restaurant of high class. Carta for rental for childrens and 2 big play areas for children to play and also enjoy.

Tiger Hobbes

This is the newest mega mall in Iowa. Its bright and shiny with all the standard mall stores and chain restaurants you expect. Its usually packed with shoppers any time of day, and the ample parking lots fill up. Unfortunately, this mall, and the surrounding restaurants do not offer any unique or destination worthy shopping experiences. Its simply the biggest, newest place to shop.

Almost every store seemed a bit over priced, but that is what you should expect when shopping at a mall located amongst the one percenters. Pretty crowded in most areas, but not too bad considering it was Saturday evening. Theater was nice and clean and was appropriately priced for the location. If you got a lot of money that you want to waste, then this is the place to go.

Probably the best shopping area in all of Iowa. There are tons of retailers and loads of really good food options here. Id steer away from the On the Border, but the Cheesecake Factory, Panera, and PF Changs are good choices. Theres also sushi nearby and more fast choices inside the mall. Costco and Nordstrom Rack are also near the mall in the huge Jordan Creek Center.

Chiyo Sumizome

Huge place, super welcoming, beautiful veiws too. They have the cutest little pond that has ducks. If you play Pokemon Go they have a lot of stops. There is also plenty of places to get a bite to eat as well. I wish there were more malls like this place. The kids and teenagers even hang out there often. There is a variety of people that go there as well.

Overall, this is the best mall in Des Moines. It has the most stores, selection, best food court etc. That being said, while the movie theater is nice it is overpriced and I dont like going there and on certain days this mall can be overcrowded since it is the best in the state. If you want somewhere more low-key go to Merle Hay or Valley West.

Hands down the best and cleanest mall i have ever been to in my life!!!! Quite a variety of stores!!! And one of the biggest and best food courts!!! Great shopping experience!!! I will definitely return!!! Wish we had a mall half as nice as this one back in crappy Joliet Illinois!!! Loved the atmosphere both inside and outside of the mall!!!

A nice selection of stores. The teenagers are annoying on Fridays and Saturdays but I guess I was that age once also. Wouldnt mind seeing security around the movie theater and food courts on those days and in parking lot. Could use some more bathrooms for people with young kids and also more for small children to do.

My wife and I had a fun day shopping at Jordan Creek. Theres a good variety of stores, including places like the Apple Store and a fewer higher end clothing stores you wont find in smaller towns. Its not a mall youre going to drive hours to get to, but if youre in the area, its worth stopping by to walk through.
