I had an awful experience and probably wont go back. My Halls card doesnt have a balance right now so I think Ill just close it after the experience I had with a Barney Fife wannabe outside the shopping center. I was unaware that I couldnt talk to my fellow citizens about issues that affect our state. We were waiting for my middle-schoolers friends dad by the fountain. I asked a man if he was a registered voter and a security guard acted like I was a terrorist. Putting my notebook and Clean Missouri petition away was not enough for him ... "You have to leave the property or you will be arrested." I think those might be the only words he knows how to say out loud. I honestly didnt know I was doing anything wrong and I stopped immediately. I put the petition away. I tried to reason with him and everything I said got the same stupid "have you arrested" response. I wasnt argumentative or hostile. I complied willingly. He was still a dick. He even started to call a real cop because we werent leaving fast enough. We went to the bus shelter until Ts dad showed up and I collected a couple of signatures just to spite him while he stared at me to make sure I didnt befoul precious Crown Center private property with my civic-minded ways before the bus came.

Crown Center has fun events for families and children of all ages and some good shopping and restaurants. Watch your items closely, though, because we had an expensive stroller stolen outside of Crayola Cafe. The thieves knew what they were doing because they took ours, which was the most expensive stroller there, and they knew when the cameras were turned away. It was disappointing that Crayola Cafe did not let us take the stroller in the restaurant and then this happened. On a brighter note, we were most disappointed that the photos of our toddler taken with one of his favorite characters were in the bottom of the stroller, and the Crown Center arranged to have the photos reprinted for us. However, we were not reimbursed for the stroller or the other contents in the bottom and the diaper bag, and we had to file a police report, which did not get any results.

An exceptional location for lunch on a weekday. Plenty of seating in a fascinating setting with spectacular views for a food court, it was easy to find a place to sit, even at 12:15. The restaurant choices are hardly thrilling, but its got all the bases covered, and the food is usually good and reasonably priced. Service isnt going to win any awards, but they do the key jobs very well, like getting your order quickly and correctly, and keeping the place nice and clean. This is a great place to wander around if youve got extra time, so treat yourself to some dessert and enjoy it.

Not very many shops. What few shops they have are so over priced! We had lunch at a pizza place. For the money they wanted i expected great service. We did not get it. I was forced to bring our glasses to the bar to get them refilled. Also when i asked for something that was suppose to be out i was told where to find it. It was not there. When i mentioned this to our server (after i tracked him down) he just shrugged his shoulders. The pizza was never restocked on the buffet. Terrible just terrible. If you do come here plan on eating elsewhere.

A perfect place for conspicuous consumption and ostentatious display. Definitely designed for the Traveller crowd. What used to be a nice place to go with your family has become a place that caters almost exclusively to the out of towner or the wealthy suburbanite. From Over priced trinkets and mediocre food, an aquarium that will cost you over $100.00 for a family of four to a theater that is being run into the ground. Not a place I recommend to people. Make sure and dress nice because you have to look good while you are being fleeced.

I wish I could say something nice about this mall, but I only had 5 minutes to walk around inside the mall before I realized that theyre closing at 7 pm on a Saturday!! What kind of mall closes at 7 pm on a Saturday?!? There were hundreds of people all walking around wondering the same thing.... most displaying more disdainful looks than I had on my face. Its a pretty ridiculous choice for closing time on a weekend when the area is packed with tourists from the LegoLand Discovery Center and Sealife Aquarium.

My wife and I brought in an old minivan that use to belong to her father. It was in really bad shape both internally and externally so we chose the complete detail treatment. It really was like a new car when it was finished. We even had them remove some "baked-on" bumper stickers which seem like part of the paint. In the end, we were very satisfied with the results. And the facility itself was clean and spacious with complimentary popcorn and fruit punch.

Crown Center has some unique shopping options. Good place to go when shopping for a gift for someone who has everything. Great place to take little kids for free entertainment! The temporary childrens exhibits are always worth a stop. Hit Kaleidoscope and Hallmark Visitors Center with kids as well. We always stop at Sheridans for delicious frozen custard. Walk across the walkways to Union Station and take the free streetcar to the City Market and back!

We go here every year for Irish fest and its amazing! The venue is spectacular. They shut down the street and fill it with food trucks, love music, local artists and beer tents. We love it. If you get the chance you should absolutely visit the fest in September. Crown center is wonderful as well with many dining options, shops to kill time and just areas to rest. They hosted the comedy show off Irish fest in the theater there and it was lovely!!

Excellent facility for dining, shopping, and family activities. Family activities include: Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium, and Kaleidoscope. Dining ranges from food court to upscale. Many places to shop, including Halls (an incredible retail store). During winter ice-skating and the Mayors Christmas Tree bring Crown Center to life. With hotels connected by skywalks, this center is a fantastic experience for visitors and locals alike.

Lots of cool things near by and in mall. Hallmark museum next to kaleidoscope (which kids loved!) Was actually really cool lol they have a Emmy that you can hold and a bow making machine that actually gives you a free bow at the end. There was also a temporary Thomas the train engine exhibit which was really cool. Sea world had some neat stuff too. Store were cool but lots of overpriced stuff. I just looked and that was still fun

Honestly theres not much to the Crown center. Its a few expensive stores with expensive parking and a few good food court type food places. I mostly only go there after I go to Union Station and want to grab a bite to eat. Also, the parking seems like youll save a bit of money with validation but even with the 3 hour validation it only saves you 3 dollars, not 8 like you would think.

We went for the Thomas the train exhibit. It wasnt very impressive. It was a small space with a few things for the kids to interact with. But, better than nothing. The space is nice and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. Lots of places to eat and some unique things for the family to get into. I think it warrants a few more visits in the near future.
