We come to Oak Park for shipping we cant get in Wichita. Its a substantial mall with a slew of great stores. My nieces favorite store is Lush because of its environmental consciousness and its commitment to be animal friendly. I liked taking my husband to The Art of Shaving, where the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in guiding my bearded hubby to just the right products he needed as well as suggesting a few new things to further improve his beard and mustache game. There is security around the mall keeping everyone safe and thievery to a minimum. WhileI was waiting for my niece to purchase a shirt at Zumez one such security guard walked into the store to return a stolen t-shirt. The food court was crowded, but clean. There were people at work cleaning as people left their tables. Its a very busy place, but we enjoyed it and will continue shopping there when were in the area.

The mall has really gone downhill from only 10 years ago. Spencers and Hot Topic, a couple longtime popular stores there, have been moved to hallway size areas so small, you cant even squeeze by others in there. The crowd there is also disappointing. When Im in there with my kids and all we hear are thugs, in the mall, without shirts on, cussing to each other, guys and girls, about how they were chasing some guy in the mall to "F*** him up" By the time we got to our car, there were 2 Overland Park police there questioning the same people. Long story short, we wont be going back anytime in the foreseeable future.

Oak Park Mall may be one of the larger shopping areas in the area, however the vastness and selection of stores does not translate over to a quality shopping experience. The environment of the mall is such that patrons begin acting rude: standing in large groups in crowed areas, cutting in line at the food court, and an overwhelming feeling of roughness The mall does not feel particularly safe after I witness a few shop lifters walk freely out of stores. I try not to go into Oak Park Mall unless I have to. When I do, I am very careful to keep my personal belongings close.

Your average enclosed shopping mall with the usual anchor tenants. Several new places have popped up on the perimeter spaces but not too many new places on the inside. Food court has a few good choices to eat at but nothing special. I am used to most malls having a Movie Theater attached or within the parking lot footprint. Having one would bring more customers as well as more vendors. But it is a safe place to shop and spend time looking around.

Its a great place to go if you have money to burn and dont mind walking. The parking could be better but with so many people there all the time I guess its pointless to complain about it. It is what it is. Watch out for peddlers that try to convince you that you need their over priced dream cream or other over priced junk. Dont make eye contact and youll be fine.

This place has gone from a really nice place to just an avoidance, maybe it comes with age but I dont necessarily enjoy it anymore like I used to and Im in my 20s.... other than walking around for leisure, have a purpose or just go somewhere else, maybe the legends will have what youre looking for and have more of a better atmosphere.

Very high end shops are okay, challenging to get to both the location (due to busy traffic) and specific stores (due to most parking forcing you to go through department store). There are two Dillards which make it confusing to navigate inside. Youll walk as much as the plaza with many of the same specialty shops, go there instead.

This is a truly great mall experience. They have so many amazing stores including The Disney store and The Lego store The American Girl Doll Store and the Window Store all with family fun in store activity. There is an indoor carousal and play place for the little ones. I have given it 4 stars only because it is always so crowded.

I hate malls as a general rule. The main thing I use Oak Park mall for is their childrens play area, and the carousel. The play area is free, which I love. The carousel is WAY overpriced. It costs $5 for my two children to ride about 4 minutes. They always want to go again. So, about $10 for 8 minutes of "entertainment."

A nice mall to get anything from shoes to a shaving kit. Good variety of stores for everyone in your group. From higher-end retails like Nordstrom to lower side they have what you need. Location is clean and parking has never been an issue. Avoid high traffic times and your experience will increase for the better.

Huge mall! Definitely the largest indoor shopping mall in the KC Metro. They have a wide variety of stores including upscale stores and niche stores. The food court is large with plenty of options. It is located just off the highway and access to the mall is pretty easy. Many other shops and restaurants nearby.

The Ralph Lauren Polo section of Dillards was having a 65% off sale on clothes I almost paid full price for just 2 months earlier. Yay me! The luggage section was a waste of time because the wrong piece of luggage was under the pricing sign I was looking at and they looked exactly the same.

As malls go, this one is actually pretty nice. Theyve got tons of parking and lots of shops you wont find elsewhere in the metro area. It tends to be a little crowded for my tastes, especially on the weekends. My only real complaint is its kind of hard to get in and out of the parking lot.

Honestly the best part of this mall is the shoe cleaning people who will clean one shoe for free so you can walk around with one clean shoe and one still dirty. Can do the other one for $5 but I dont got that kinda money. So I just go back the other day and do the other one for free

This is your average big box mall with all the department stores and upscale selection you expect from a massive mall. Youll get a pleasant surprise as some of the stores at the mall are privately owned and have some pretty amazing offerings. I suggest "Game room concepts"!

I love this mall. This is by far my favorite mall in the kansas city area. Everything is easy to find and the entire mall is very clean. Traffic is also controlled well even on busy days. I recommend this mall over all the other ones in the area.

In many ways, much the same as the mall I grew up with (i.e., size, atmosphere), in other ways different (solicitor clientele). The LL Professional Eyecare was friendly, helpful. The abutting Lens Crafters was, for the most, accommodating.

Nice Mall! The food court has a good variety of options for pretty cheap. This mall has a few more upper scale stores than your average mall so the price points are higher but I like the variety! It also has a carousel on the lower level!
