I had the worst experience possible. Last yr 2014 my family bought our 1st home and was so excited to go buy our furniture and spent 4 hr in Ashley looking and picked out everything (2 months in advance). We called and told them we closed early to see if we could move the delivery date up, and thats when our NIGHTMARE begun. Since Sept 2014 we received the wrong couch (they said try it out if we didnt like it they would replace it and refund the difference) and then they didnt have my childrens bedroom furn that we had picked out. I called and they said that was delayed and coming the following week, well 2 weeks later I got 1 nightstand? Followed by a phone call stating I didnt pay for the bedroom furniture I needed to return it to the store. So I did along with my receipt and they didnt know what was going on, so I said I just wanted what I had and my money back for what I didnt. Well the nightmare continues because then the WRONG COUCH I still have starts tearing up and ripping at the seams. I call and they say they have to send a repair man out next week, well wouldnt you know 6 weeks later he calls wanting to come and looks at it and yep sure enough it needs replacing and since it wasnt what I wanted anyways he didnt know why they just didnt send me a new one. So he turns in his paperwork. Well then today 4/258/2015 I get a call and I was told that they arent going to refund me the difference from what I wanted and what I paid for that I could go to my local store and pick out a new couch equal to my "store credit" or some nice accessories I nicely told the lady if I had my choice at this moment I wouldnt have anything of Ashley Furniture in my house. So they are sending me again the couch I dont want, the color I didnt order. This has been a total nightmare and I never once thought buying furniture for my home would be this horrible. I will go without before I ever buy or step foot inside another company own/co-owned or that sells Ashley Furniture. I tear up every time I see a Ashley furniture truck on the HWY.

We recently bought a dining room set from Ashley in Tupelo. We found the one we liked in the store, but when the salesman looked it up for the sale, he said, oh, Im sorry this one is discontinued. We were disappointed, but he said if we wanted, we could get the floor model. Well, the floor model only had 4 chairs. We wanted at least 6. They looked it up and said no problem, we cant get 2 more that are showing in the warehouse. Well, the day before they were to be delivered, they called and said they couldnt find the other two chairs. They delivered the table and 4 chairs. About a week later, we stopped by the store and the lady told us they had 80 chairs coming in and we could get the rest when they come in. Well, later someone tells us no, they are discontinued. We cant get anymore. I said we were told you could. Next thing you know they are calling and telling us when we will get the other chairs. I said if you can get us two more chairs, it would be great. We thought if they were being discontinued, we would be wise to get the extras so we would have 8 chairs. They called us and wanted us to pay for the two chairs. I had to make sure they were talking about the extra chairs and NOT the two we had already paid for and not received in the original shipment. FINALLY about 2 weeks late, we got the rest of the chairs. Two of the four were very wobbly on our tile floors. The delivery person said it was probably the tile floors. I dont think it was. It looked like about a 1/4" difference in one of the front legs. It looked shorter. Anyway, we went ahead and put felt pads under the chairs. When you sit in them, at least they dont wobble. All in all it was a very stressful experience. I like the look of the table and the chairs are comfortable but they need to get their act together on their sales and customer service.

Never buy anything here. What they send to your house is not what you sit on in showroom. It does not have the support that the one on the showroom does. The back sinks in badly. Plus they tell you if you are not happy, you can pay 10% re stocking fee. They miss lead you on this. What they do not say is. This is only after you order it. There is no returns and they never say anything about that. But it is on the contract on the back in small print. This is the second time I have bought something from them, I have not been happy either time. So buyer beware of this place. Again what they send you is not what you sit on there. I paid 459 dollars a chair to get trailer furniture. Way poor quality. Also the fumes from them is terrible, I do not know what it is on them. It made my skin turn pink and itch. Me and my mother are both disabled we had to save for a year to buy something. Only to be mislead. One thing is for sure, they do not care about the customers. They do not care if you are happy with what you get. We also bought a recliner. I the one on the showroom floor mom could shut the recliner and get up . On the one they sent she can not shut it the spring is to tight. So she is stuck in the chair till someone helps her out. Again I say never buy anything here. If I had took the time to reviews site on line , other than just this one. I would have saw a lot of people have had trouble with this company. They where rated 40 on one list out of 50 stores with way more than half the people giving them a thumbs down. Oh also they add to your post a e mail address you can write saying they wish to be helpful. This must be a sham because I sent me e mail, home phone number, and address. I have yet to hear back from them.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over my recliner where it sat there on the floor, While I prodded, gently tapping at the springs that were snapping, And upholstery unwrapping, one thought shook me to my core... My favorite chair, nevermore. Desperately I tried to reason "it should last another season" Surely I could stretch its lifespan just another hour more. Though the mechanism fail me, though the lumps abundant ail me, Common sense could not assail me, although did the wooden floor As lo, my rear end not it bore. Wearily I left to seek solace from the groan and creak That my throne had eked as I rose up with vigour. Wild drove I to Tupelo fiercely as the driven snow Anxious would they have to show fit refuge there me for... Through the windows - thrones galore! Quickly lackeys took me in, guided me throughout the din Searching for cathedra fit to bear my visage as I snore. Listening to my summoners tale - hey! I think that ones on sale! Yes! Here sits a worthy vessel to become my chairs encore. It even matches the decor! And this chair, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting In my living room rampart, the big screen TV before. Twas no need for my nervous, they had grand customer service Priced to please and managed to have me home oclock by four. 5 stars I give Ashley Homestore!
